Fresno State Game Moved to ESPN2

Nov 21, 2007 | Football

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State Athletics Department received word Wednesday from ESPN that the Wildcats’ regular season finale at Fresno State has been moved to ESPN2 from ESPN.

Kickoff for the game at Bulldog Stadium will remain at 2:30 p.m. CT. The telecast will be split nationally among two other games on ESPN2 (Georgia at Georgia Tech and Connecticut at West Virginia), while the Notre Dame at Stanford game has moved from ESPN2 to ESPN at the same time slot of 2:30 p.m. CT.

It will mark the eighth time overall this season that the Cats will be on television and the fourth straight week that Kansas State will play in front of a national audience. The eight appearances on television are the second-most all-time during the regular season as Kansas State had nine games broadcast back in 2000.

The game will also mark the third this season on ESPN/ESPN2 as the Cats are 1-1 this season on the network after a season-opening loss at Auburn (ESPN) and a home win over Colorado (ESPN2). All-time, the Wildcats are 9-4 when playing on either ESPN or ESPN2.
