K-State to host Elite Hoops Camp June 7-8

The first of two Day Camp kicks off the summer camp season, as it runs from June 2-5 for kids and kindergarten through eighth grade. The primary emphasis will be basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. The cost is $70 for campers in kindergarten to third grade and $80 for campers in fourth to eighth grades. There will also be a second Day Camp on July 14-17 with a cost of $190 for each camper.
The Father-Son Camp offers fathers and sons (ages kindergarten through eighth grade) a great opportunity to spend a special weekend together on June 13-14. Emphasis will be on teaching fundamentals to the fathers, who in turn teach them to their son. Space is limited to the first 100 Father and Son pairs who sign up. The cost is $200 per pair and $60 for each additional child.
There will be two Overnight Individual Camps on June 8-11 and June 26-29 for kids age 8-18. The primary emphasis will be on developing fundamental skills in shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense. Skills will be taught through instructional stations, 3-on-3 games and 5-on-5 games. The camp also features daily skills competition, dunk contests and instruction by K-State coaches and players. The cost is $350 per person for overnight campers and $250 for commuters.
Martin and his staff will instruct and direct each of the camps, while K-State players, college and high school coaches will also work with the campers.
