Tickets Available for Hall of Fame Banquet

MANHATTAN, Kan. The 2008 class of the Kansas State Athletics Hall of Fame will be honored during a dinner and induction ceremony at Bramlage Coliseum on Friday, September 26, and a limited number of tickets are available to the general public, athletics department officials announced.

The special induction class of 2008 includes current Kansas State president Dr. Jon Wefald and former head football coach Bill Snyder as the two men most responsible for the “Miracle in Manhattan” will be enshrined.

Tickets for the dinner and induction ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m., are $100 per person and can be purchased by calling the K-State Athletics Department at (785) 532-6912.

Both Wefald and Snyder will be available to the media on Thursday, September 25, in the Legends Room of Bramlage Coliseum, beginning at 3 p.m.

The induction class will also be presented during halftime of Kansas State’s football contest vs. Louisiana on Saturday.
