Wildcats Hold Off Buffs Charge in OT

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) Kansas State beat Colorado 77-75 on Saturday in a battle of the last winless teams in the Big 12.
Jacob Pullen scored five of his team-high 17 points for Kansas State in overtime.Dwight Thorne scored a career-high 30 points for Colorado (8-10, 0-4) which has lost four straight.
Denis Clemente scored all of his 15 points after halftime for the Wildcats (12-7, 1-4), who snapped a four-game skid.
Thorne hit one of his five 3-pointers with 10 seconds left in regulation to send it into overtime tied at 67-all. He then hit a 3-pointer with 6.3 seconds left in overtime to pull Colorado within 75-74, but Darren Kent’s two free throws with 5.2 seconds left sealed the win.
