K-State to Host Star Wars Day on Jan. 1 vs. West Virginia

MANHATTAN, Kan. – With excitement building for the release of 'The Last Jedi,' Kansas State will host Star Wars Day at Bramlage Coliseum when the men's basketball team hosts West Virginia at 4 p.m., on Monday, January 1.
 
A number of activities are planned for the game, including appearances by a variety of characters, a photo booth on the concourse and a fan costume contest. Prizes for the top costumes include a X-wing fighter battle quadcopter drone, Tie fighter battle quadcopter drone, and a BB8 hero droid.
 
Tickets start at just $12.50 with a Wildcat 4 Pack. The $20 Bramlage Bundle ticket option is also available for the contest. The Bundle includes a game ticket, $10 concessions voucher and a souvenir from the K-State Super Store.
 
Star Wars Day is just one of a number of promotions scheduled for the 2017-18 season, including a Throwback Game against TCU on Saturday, January 20 and a Blackout against Iowa State on Saturday, February 17.
