Deante Burton, CB – Atlanta Falcons
Burton, a wide receiver for his entire K-State career in addition to the preseason with the Atlanta, is a defensive back on the Falcons' practice squad. The No. 6 seed in the NFC Playoffs, Atlanta fell at Philadelphia, 15-10, to see its season come to an end.
B.J. Finney, OL – Pittsburgh Steelers
Finney, an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 who finished his second year on the active roster, played on six special teams plays in Pittsburgh's 45-42 home loss to Jacksonville. A product of Andale, Kansas, Finney has played in 27 career regular-season games with seven starts, including four this year.
Emmanuel Lamur, LB – Minnesota Vikings
Lamur, a sixth-year linebacker, made a tackle on one of his two defensive snaps while also playing on 14 special teams plays in Minnesota's improbable 29-24 last-second win over New Orleans. A second-year player for the Vikings after spending his first four seasons in Cincinnati, Lamur has 180 regular-season tackles in his career to go along with a half sack, 12 passes defended and two interceptions. The Vikings travel to Philadelphia for the NFC Championship on Sunday, which kicks off at 5:40 p.m. (CT) on FOX.
Terence Newman, CB – Minnesota Vikings
Newman, a 15-year NFL veteran in his third season with Minnesota, started at cornerback and made one tackle in Minnesota's 29-24 victory on the final play of regulation. The Salina, Kansas, product has played in 221 regular-season games in his career, the 10th most among active NFL players and second most among defensive players. He finished the 2017 regular season with 35 tackles, four pass breakups and a pick this season, and he has 876 career tackles to go along with 2.0 sacks, 172 passes defended and 42 career interceptions, the latter ranking as the second most among active players. Minnesota travels to take on Philadelphia in the NFC Championship at 5:40 p.m. (CT) on Sunday. The game will be aired on FOX.
Darren Sproles, RB/Returner – Philadelphia Eagles
A 13-year veteran, Sproles was placed on injured reserve on Sept. 25, due to season-ending injuries sustained in Week 3. The Olathe, Kansas, native has 19,155 career all-purpose yards, which ranks first among active players and eighth in NFL history. Philadelphia earned a 15-10 victory over Atlanta and will now host Minnesota in the NFC Championship on Sunday, a 5:40 p.m. (CT) contest that will be shown on FOX.
