MANHATTAN, Kan. – FS1's broadcast of the series finale of the Sunflower Showdown on May 13 highlights the national television package, as all 29 home K-State baseball games will be shown across multiple television and online platforms in 2018, K-State Athletics and K-State Sports Properties officials announced.
K-State's home contests are set to air on FS1, ESPN3, Cox Channel Kansas or K-StateHD.TV, with select away games also being made available, including Fox Sports affiliates, Big Ten Network and institutional online platforms.
For the third straight season, ESPN3 will stream Wildcat home games, beginning with a mid-week series March 6 against Incarnate Word. ESPN3 will broadcast a total of 20 K-State home games, which can also be accessed on the mobile ESPN app.
Cox Channel Kansas, available for Cox cable subscribers on channel 22 and 2022, will carry a total of five K-State home games, starting with the March 13 matchup with Creighton. Other broadcasts include March 29 vs. Texas, April 6 vs. Oklahoma State, May 2 against Wichita State and May 11 vs. Kansas.
Eight home games will stream free of charge on K-StateHD.TV, the nation's most-watched institutional network since its inception in 2011. The list includes the home-opening three-game series from March 2-4 against La Salle, which will be broadcast exclusively on K-StateHD.TV.
