Wildcats' Season Opener Suspended Due to Rain

Game 2 of the four-game series will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the postponed contest. Each side has four runs on four hits with an error through five full innings.
K-State starting pitcher Tyler Eckberg tossed all five innings for the Wildcats with a career-high nine strikeouts.
Junior Caleb Littlejim delivered a game-tying two-run home run in the fourth inning – the first hit of his Wildcat career.
Will Brennan is 2-for-2 with a double and Chris Ceballos delivered an RBI single in the second inning.
