MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Big 12 Conference and its television partners announced Monday that kickoff and television designation for Kansas State's regular-season finale, a home contest against Texas on December 5, will be announced this coming Sunday.
The Wildcats are looking to snap a three-game losing skid to the Longhorns with each of those three games being decided by six points or less. Last season, Texas earned a 27-24 victory on a field goal with no time remaining. Two years ago in Manhattan, the Wildcats shut out UT in the second half, but a 19-0 halftime lead was too much to overcome in a 19-14 loss.
Kansas State travels to face Baylor on Saturday inside McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m., and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
