MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2020 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 13 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
 
Deante Burton, DB – Dallas Cowboys
Burton is on the Dallas practice squad, a team that earned a 31-28 win at Minnesota on Sunday. Burton was elevated from the practice squad for Dallas' Week 3 loss at Seattle. The Cowboys improved to 3-7 this year as they are tied for second place in the NFC East, just percentage points behind first-place Philadelphia (3-6-1). Dallas hosts the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving.
 
B.J. Finney, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
Finney was inactive for the Bengals' 20-9 road loss at the hands of the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Finney was traded to the Bengals from the Seahawks on October 28. Cincinnati is now 2-7-1 this year and hosts the New York Giants on Sunday.
 
Elijah Lee, LB – Cleveland Browns
Lee made a tackle on punt coverage among his 19 special teams plays in Cleveland's 22-17 home victory over Philadelphia. It was Lee's second game with the Browns as he began his season with the Lions before being waived by Detroit on October 29 and claimed by Cleveland the next day. The Browns improved to 7-3 on the year to reside in second place in the AFC North, and they travel to face Jacksonville on Sunday.
 
Tyler Lockett, WR – Seattle Seahawks
Lockett, who started his 65th-career game, tallied a game-high nine receptions for 67 yards – which included an 11-yard touchdown – in Seattle's 28-21 win over Arizona on Thursday night. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native has 67 receptions for 748 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He is tied for sixth in the NFL in touchdown receptions and tied for seventh in catches. The Seahawks are now tied for first place in the NFC West with a 7-3 record, and they travel to face Philadelphia on Monday.
 
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Washington Football Team
A sixth-year veteran, Lucas was inactive due to an injury for Washington's 20-9 home win over Cincinnati. The Football Team improved its record to 3-7 on the season to be tied for second in the NFC East, just percentage points behind the 3-6-1 Eagles. Washington travels to face Dallas on Thanksgiving.
 
Matt McCrane, K – Cleveland Browns
Matt McCrane is on Cleveland's practice after signing with the organization in Week 3. The Browns picked up a 22-17 win over Philadelphia on Sunday to improve to 7-3 on the season. Cleveland hits the road to face Jacksonville on Sunday.
 
Byron Pringle, WR – Kansas City Chiefs
Pringle tallied his second start of the season, catching three passes for 17 yards and returning three kickoffs for 67 yards in Kansas City's 35-31 last-minute win at Las Vegas on Sunday night. In 10 games this season, Pringle has nine receptions for 108 yards to go along with seven kickoff returns for 247 yards (35.3-yard average) and a touchdown, as he is one of only four players in the league with a kickoff-return score. The Chiefs remain in first place in the AFC West with a 9-1 record, and they travel to face Tampa Bay on Sunday.
 
D.J. Reed Jr., DB – Seattle Seahawks
Reed tallied his third-straight start, totaling a season-high 11 tackles and a pass breakup to go along with 45 kick-return yards on two attempts in Seattle's 28-21 victory over Arizona on Thursday night. His tackle total was one shy of his career high, and his pass breakup came on a third down during the Cardinals' last possession of the game deep in Seahawk territory. With the win, Seattle improved to 7-3 on the season to reclaim first place in the NFC West. The Seahawks travel to face Philadelphia on Monday night.
 
Dalton Risner, OL – Denver Broncos
Starting his 26th-career game, Risner was in for all 65 offensive snaps in Denver's 20-13 home win over Miami on Sunday. The Wiggins, Colorado, product has seen time on 1,636 of the Broncos' 1,706 offensive snaps (95.9%) since he began his career last year. Denver improved to 4-6 this season and hosts New Orleans on Sunday.
 
Duke Shelley, DB – Chicago Bears
Shelley and the Chicago Bears were off last week. The 5-5 Bears, who are second in the NFC North to Green Bay, travel to face the Packers on Sunday night.
 
Reggie Walker, LB – Arizona Cardinals
Walker was signed from Arizona's practice squad to its active roster last Thursday prior to the Cardinals' 28-21 loss at Seattle later that night. Walker was active but did not play, and he was released on Saturday before being resigned to the Cardinals' practice squad on Tuesday.
 
Cody Whitehair, OL – Chicago Bears
Whitehair and the Chicago Bears had their bye last week. The Bears are 5-5 this season – two games back of Green Bay for first place in the NFC North – and they travel to face the Packers on Sunday night.
 
Jordan Willis, DE – San Francisco 49ers
Willis and the San Francisco 49ers were off last week. San Francisco, which is 4-6 this season, comes out of the break by traveling to face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
