MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2020 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 13 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL. For a final recap of players whose teams did not make the playoffs, click here.
Elijah Lee, LB – Cleveland Browns
Playing in his fourth-career playoff game, Lee was in for 27 special teams snaps as the AFC's No. 6 seed, Cleveland, knocked off third-seeded Pittsburgh, 48-37, on Sunday night. It was Cleveland's first playoff win since January 1, 1995. The Browns now travel to top-seeded Kansas City for a 2:05 p.m. (CT) game on Sunday that will be shown on CBS.
Tyler Lockett, WR – Seattle Seahawks
Lockett, who played in his sixth-career postseason game and made his fourth start, came away with two catches for 43 yards – including a one-handed catch near the sideline – but it wasn't enough as Seattle fell at home to the Los Angeles Rams, 30-20. Lockett finished the regular season with a franchise-record 100 receptions for 1,054 yards and 10 touchdowns. He tied for seventh in the NFL this season in catches and eighth in touchdown receptions.
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Washington Football Team
Lucas started and was in for all 72 offensive snaps in Washington's 31-23 home loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday night. It was Lucas' third-career postseason start as he made one after the 2014 and 2016 seasons with Detroit. Lucas saw time on 49% of Washington's offensive snaps during the regular season with a majority of those coming in the second half of the year.
Matt McCrane, K – Cleveland Browns
McCrane is on the Browns' practice squad, a place he has resided since signing with the organization in Week 3. Cleveland picked up a 48-37 victory at Pittsburgh on Sunday night, the Browns' first postseason win since the 1994 season. Cleveland now travels to face Kansas City on Sunday at 2:05 p.m. (CT) on CBS.
