Wildcats Finish Day Two of SMU Red and Blue Challenge 4-0

DALLAS – On the second day of the SMU Red and Blue Challenge at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas, the Kansas State women's tennis team earned a 4-0 record on Saturday (October 9).
 
Seniors Karine-Marion Job and Anna Turco were victorious against Central Arkansas' Fuka Nonoyama and Chunxi Xin 6-0.
 
After teaming up with Texas Tech's Camryn Stepp on day one, freshman Dinara Alloyarova and Stepp defeated Tyler Junior College's Patricia Apisah and Abigail Wild 6-2, winning their round robin draw.
 
Job earned a two-set victory over SMU's Lexi Keberle 6-3, 6-2.
 
In the semifinals of the of the Blue Draw, Alloyarova earned herself the fourth victory of the day as she defeated Nonoyama 7-6, 6-3.
 
The Wildcats will finish out the SMU Red and Blue Challenge on Sunday (October 10) beginning with Job in the finals of the Mustang Draw at 9 a.m. Alloyarova will play in the consolation final at 10:30.
