Thirty-Two Student-Athletes Earn Degrees in Fall

MANHATTAN, Kan. - A total of 32 current or former K-State student-athletes earned their degrees from Kansas State University this fall after completing final exams and participating in the annual commencement exercises.
Highlighting the 32 who graduated this fall were 20 current or former members of the K-State football team, three each from track and field and soccer, two from baseball and one each from the women's basketball, tennis, volleyball and rowing teams.
Eighteen of the 32 graduates are obtaining their undergraduate degrees, while the additional 14 are earning graduate degrees, a second undergraduate degree or masters certificate.
The group of graduates was also honored at the department's annual graduation reception inside the West Stadium Center.
K-State continues to rank among the league's best in terms of academic success as all programs are currently well above the required NCAA APR standard in addition to ranking among the best in the Big 12 in graduation rates – including eight teams that have Big 12-leading marks.
