Jun 30, 2021 | Women's Golf
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State incoming freshman women's golfer Remington Isaac has been named the All-Greater Houston Girls Golfer of the Year by the Houston Chronicle.
As a senior in 2021 at Montgomery High School, Isaac won seven of the 10 events in which she played. She led Montgomery to the District 20-5A and Region III-5A team championships and won the individual title in both events. Then, at the UIL state tournament, she paced the Lady Bears during a runner-up finish and tied for fourth individually at even-par 144.
Isaac, the younger sister of recently-graduated Wildcat Reid Isaac, is one of three incoming players for the K-State women's golf team in 2021-22. She is joined by Lilly Whitley (Edmond [Okla.] Memorial High School) and community-college transfer Manon Donche-Gay (Daytona State College).
