K-State Announces Big 12 Single-Game Tickets, Promotions for Men’s and Women’s Basketball

The men's and women's basketball teams are off to a 22-3 start to the season
MANHATTAN, Kan. – After a successful non-conference starts for both Kansas State Basketball programs, with the Jerome Tang era beginning 11-1 and Jeff Mittie's squad starting off 11-2, the athletics department has announced the full slate of single-game ticket packages and theme days going into the start of the Big 12 schedule.
Tickets for men's basketball start at only $15 for Big 12 midweek games and $20 for Saturday games. For the seventh-straight season, K-State is offering discounted $5 general admission tickets for women's basketball home games when purchased in advance.
The men's team opens league play against West Virginia at 6 p.m., CT on New Year's Eve, while the women's team plays host to Oklahoma State in the Big 12 home opener on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 6:30 p.m., CT.
Tickets can be purchased through the Athletics Ticket Office by calling (800) 221.CATS (2287), by visiting www.kstatesports.com/tickets, and in-person at the main southwest Bramlage Coliseum ticket office.

Saturday, Dec. 31 – K-State Men vs. West Virginia
- Lego Night: Everyone's favorite building blocks turn purple for Lego Night at K-State Basketball. Activities begin when the doors open at 5:00 p.m. as Lego master builders create a life-sized Wildcat themed display on the concourse. Kids can interact with Lego activities pregame and enter to win prizes throughout the game.
- Junior Wildcats Club Game: K-State welcomes members of the Junior Wildcats Club to experience Wildcat Men's Basketball up close. Kids Club members should visit the JWC table on the concourse near Section 3 in the southwest corner to check-in. The first 100 Junior Wildcats to show their membership card at the table will receive a K-State Lego activity kit to take home. Junior Wildcats will also receive discounts on select concessions with their membership cards.

Fans in sections 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 27 are asked to wear white, while those in sections 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25 and 26 are asked to wear purple. The first 3,000 students will receive a free shirt courtesy of Pepsi.
- National Halftime Act: Christian & Scooby: A finalist on America's Got Talent, Christian Stoinev has traveled the world with his tiny, furry companions, dazzling thousands with acrobatic displays. You will not want to miss this performance.
Wednesday, Feb. 15 - K-State Women vs. Baylor
- Wine Wednesday: Each package includes a custom wine glass with a vintage logo, general admission ticket, and a pregame experience in the Shamrock Zone. Package pricing will be announced later this season.
- Play 4 Kay Pink Game: The Wildcats continue the fight against cancer with the annual WBCA Kay Yow cancer awareness game. K-State will celebrate cancer survivors during the game, and fans will have the opportunity to learn about local cancer fighting efforts. The first 1,200 fans will receive a custom K-State Women's Basketball pink trucker hat courtesy of Ascension Via Christi.

- Title IX/National Girls and Women in Sports Day: K-State will host its fifth-annual pre-game clinic for girls in first through eighth grades. The clinic is in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day and the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. The pre-game clinic will be hosted by K-State female student-athletes and feature stations highlighting many different sports. All participants in the clinic will receive a free gift and free admission to the game. Registration is required and will be open in early January.
