K-State Announces 2024 Baseball Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Sixth-year head coach Pete Hughes and the Big 12 Conference announced K-State's entire schedule for the upcoming season Thursday, which features 30 games at Tointon Family Stadium.
The 2024 slate is highlighted by 17 games against seven schools that qualified for the NCAA Championships last year, including conference rival TCU that advanced to the College World Series.
The Wildcats officially begin their 2024 season on Friday, February 16 at the MLB Desert Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz., with opponents announced at a later date. Following the three-day event, K-State will take on Arizona State for the first time since 2009 in midweek action on February 20.
K-State will open its home slate with a six-game homestand starting Friday, February 23 with a three-game set against Holy Cross. K-State then welcomes UMASS Lowell for a three-game series beginning Friday, March 1.
The Wildcats hit the road for quick stops at Tennessee on March 5 and Clemson on March 6 before opening Big 12 action at Tointon Family Stadium against conference newcomer Cincinnati the weekend of March 8. K-State continues its homestand with a game against South Dakota State on Wednesday, March 13, prior to its three-game set with Missouri State starting Friday, March 15.
A quick game against in-state rival Wichita State on Tuesday, March 19, leads into another Big 12 weekend at Houston beginning on Friday, March 22. The Cats are back in Manhattan on Tuesday, March 26 to go head-to-head with Nebraska, prior to hosting Texas in the final Big 12 series between the two schools starting Thursday, March 28.
K-State is on the road for nine of the next 10 games starting with the final season contest against Missouri State in Springfield on April 3. The second round against Wichita State will be held in Manhattan on April 10, which is sandwiched between conference series at UCF (April 5-7) and Oklahoma (April 12-14). K-State then heads to the northeast for quick stops at UCONN on April 16 and Northeastern on April 17.
The Cats return to Tointon Family Stadium for a three-game Big 12 set against Oklahoma State starting the weekend of April 19, followed by a single home contest with Omaha on April 23. K-State continues league action at TCU, who won the 2023 Big 12 Championship, running the weekend of April 26.
After another go-around at Nebraska on May 1, the Wildcats will host the Dillons Sunflower Showdown against Kansas at Tointon Family Stadium May 3-5, before K-State's final Big 12 road series at West Virginia the weekend of May 10.
The Cats' final four games are in Manhattan beginning with the second round against South Dakota State, while the last regular-season series of the year is at home against BYU the weekend of May 16.
The 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship will again be held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, May 21 through May 25. The 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament begins May 31.

K-State baseball has partnered with Katie's Way and No Stone Unturned during the intersquad scrimmage to help raise awareness for each organization as part of the team's 19 Ways program.
