
K-State Baseball Set to Host “Batcat Bash” on February 9

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Sixth-year head coach Pete Hughes and the K-State baseball team are set to host the annual Batcat Bash on Friday, February 9 inside the Shamrock Zone located on the south end of the Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
All are invited to attend the tailgate style event, formally known as "Baseball Night in Manhattan", which is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale through the K-State Ticket Office and are available for $10 for adults and $5 for kids (12 and younger).
Those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet Coach Hughes and the entire K-State baseball team as they prepare for the upcoming 2024 season.
The event will feature all the ballpark favorite tailgate foods, games, and activities, along with a live auction and online bidding. Online bidding is now open at k-st.at/BatCatAuction.

K-State, who will return 18 letterwinners, officially begins the 2024 campaign on February 16 at the MLB Desert Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Cats will face off with Cal, Boston College, and Georgetown over three days at Salt River Park and Sloan Park, the spring training homes of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs.

- A chance to join the K-State radio broadcast as a featured guest
- An opportunity to throw out the first pitch at Tointon Family Stadium
