K-State Baseball Unveils Complete 2024 Broadcast Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – CBS Sports' broadcast at UConn on April 16 and ESPNU's broadcast against Oklahoma State on April 21 highlight the 2024 broadcast schedule, as K-State officials announced the complete baseball broadcast schedule Monday.

Outside of the nationally televised games against the Huskies and Cowboys, the upcoming 2024 K-State baseball season will feature 28 home games and 12 road games broadcasted on the Big 12 Now on ESPN+. In total, ESPN+ will carry 47 K-State baseball broadcasts this season, home and away.
Brian Smoller and former K-State baseball and Big 8 Coach of the Year Mike Clark return for their 16th season as the primary TV broadcast team, with Smoller and Matt Walters returning for their 26th year as the primary radio voices. Former K-State baseball players Trevor Hurley, Jared Goedert, and former Big 8 Player of the Year Craig Wilson will also be part of the rotation on K-State baseball radio and TV broadcasts.

Big 12 Now on ESPN+ is accessible to subscribers through the latest version of the ESPN App, ESPN.com, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV (Generation 3 & 4), Android Handset, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, Xbox, Playstation, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs (Tizen). Five regular season games – March 15 vs. Missouri State, March 26 vs. Nebraska, March 29 vs. Texas, May 1 vs. Nebraska, and May 16 vs. BYU – and all of the postseason will air on KMAN and select radio stations on the K-State Sports Network as well. A listing of K-State baseball affiliates can be found at kstatesports.com under the Fan Zone tab and Radio Network.

The Cats officially begin the 2024 campaign at the MLB Desert Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Friday, Feb. 16. The Cats will face off with Cal, Boston College, and Georgetown over three days at Salt River Park and Sloan Park, the spring training homes of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago Cubs.

The Wildcats' home opener at Tointon Family Stadium is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 23, with a three-game non-conference series with Holy Cross. K-State's home schedule features Big 12 foes Cincinnati, Texas, Oklahoma State, KU, and BYU, in addition to non-conference opponents UMass Lowell, South Dakota State, Missouri State, Nebraska, Wichita State, and Omaha.
