Wildcats in the NFL – Divisional Round

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2024 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 17 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL. Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
A first-round draft pick a year ago, Anudike-Uzomah tallied an eight-yard sack and another tackle for loss among his six defensive snaps as he helped Kansas City earn a 23-14 home win over Houston. It was his first-career playoff sack and second TFL as he also had one in last year's Super Bowl. The Chiefs advanced to their seventh-straight AFC Championship game as they will host Buffalo on Sunday in 5:30 p.m. (CT) contest that will be shown on CBS.
KT Leveston, OL – Los Angeles Rams
Leveston, a seventh-round draft pick this year by the Los Angeles Rams, is on injured reserve. The Rams lost at Philadelphia, 28-22, to see their season come to an end.
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Washington Commanders
Lucas, a 10th-year pro, was in for eight special teams plays during Washington's 45-31 victory at Detroit, his sixth career playoff game. The Commanders advanced to the NFC Championship for the first time since 1991 as they will play at Philadelphia on Sunday at 2 p.m. (CT) in a game televised by FOX.
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
Sinnott, a second-round selection in this year's draft, saw time on three offensive snaps and 13 special teams plays to help Washington pick up a 45-31 victory at Detroit, as the Commanders will play in the NFC Championship for the first time since 1991. Washington travels to Philadelphia for the 2 p.m. (CT) contest on Sunday that will be shown on FOX.
Russ Yeast, S – Houston Texans
Yeast is on the Texans' practice squad. Houston lost, 23-14, at Kansas City, to see its season come to an end in the Divisional Round for a second-straight year.
