MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2025 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 20 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
Anudike-Uzomah, who is in his third season in the NFL, is on injured reserve. The Chiefs earned a 30-17 home win over Detroit on Sunday night to even their record at 3-3, and Kansas City hosts Las Vegas on Sunday.
Cooper Beebe, OL – Dallas Cowboys
Beebe, who is in his second NFL season, was placed on injured reserve after Week 2. The Cowboys suffered a 30-27 loss at Carolina to fall to 2-3-1 on the season, and the Cowboys host Washington on Sunday.
JuJu Brents, CB – Miami Dolphins
Brents, who is in his third NFL season and first with the Dolphins, carded a pair of tackles on kickoff coverage and one on defense among his three defensive snaps and eight special teams plays in Miami's 29-27 last-minute loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Dolphins fell to 1-5 this season and play at Cleveland on Sunday.
Keenan Garber, CB – Indianapolis Colts
An undrafted rookie free agent who spent the preseason with Minnesota, Garber is now on the Colts' practice squad. Indianapolis improved to 5-1 this season with a 31-27 victory over Arizona, and the Colts play at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
DJ Giddens, RB – Indianapolis Colts
A fifth-round pick in this year's draft, Giddens saw time on two offensive snaps in the Colts' 31-27 victory over Arizona. Indianapolis improved to 5-1 this season before a game at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hayes, who is in his third season, made a tackle on punt coverage among his 23 special teams plays, helping the Buccaneers earn a 30-19 home win over San Francisco. Tampa Bay is now 5-1 this season prior to a game at Detroit on Monday night.
Timmy Horne, DT – Tennessee Titans
In his fourth NFL season, Horne is on the Titans' practice squad. Tennessee lost at Las Vegas, 20-10, to drop to 1-5 on the season before hosting New England on Sunday.
Easton Kilty, OL – New Orleans Saints
A rookie free agent signee, Kilty is on New Orleans' practice squad. The Saints saw their record drop to 1-5 following a 25-19 home loss to New England, and they play at Chicago on Sunday.
KT Leveston, OL – Cleveland Browns
Leveston, who is in his second NFL season, saw time as a reserve on 48 offensive snaps in Cleveland's 23-9 loss at Pittsburgh. The defeat dropped the Browns to 1-5, and they host Miami on Sunday.
Tyler Lockett, WR – Tennessee Titans
In his first season in Tennessee and 11th season overall, Lockett had one catch among his three targets as he was in for 20 offensive snaps in the Titans' 20-10 loss at Las Vegas. Now 1-5 this season, Tennessee hosts New England on Sunday.
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Cleveland Browns
In his 12th NFL season, Lucas was inactive for Cleveland's 23-9 loss at Pittsburgh, a defeat that dropped the Browns' record to 1-5. Cleveland hosts Miami on Sunday.
Adrian Martinez, QB – San Francisco 49ers
Signing with San Francisco's practice squad just before the start of the regular season, Martinez was elevated to the active roster two weeks ago. The 49ers lost at Tampa Bay, 30-19, to fall to 4-2 this season, and they host Atlanta on Sunday night.
Jacob Parrish, CB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Parrish, a third-round draft pick by Tampa Bay, made his second start in as many games, coming away with seven tackles and a pass breakup among his 67 defensive snaps and five special teams plays to help the Buccaneers to a 30-19 home win over San Francisco. Now 5-1 this season, Tampa Bay plays at Detroit on Monday night.
D.J. Reed, DB – Detroit Lions
Reed, who is in his eighth NFL season and first with Detroit, is on injured reserve. The Lions suffered a 30-17 loss at Kansas City on Sunday night to drop to 4-2, and Detroit hosts Tampa Bay on Monday night.
Dalton Risner, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
In his seventh NFL season and first with Cincinnati, Risner made his 84th-career start and was in for all 65 offensive snaps in the Bengals' 27-18 loss at Green Bay. Cincinnati, 2-4 this season, hosts Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
Marques Sigle, S – San Francisco 49ers
Sigle, a fifth-round selection in this year's draft, started his sixth-straight game to begin the year and had four tackles – including one for a loss – among his 32 defensive snaps and nine special teams plays in San Francisco's 30-19 loss at Tampa Bay. The 49ers fell to 4-2 and host Atlanta on Sunday night.
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
Sinnott, who is in his second NFL season, was in for 17 offensive snaps and nine special teams plays in Washington's 25-24 last-second home loss to Chicago on Monday night. Falling to 3-3 on the year, the Commanders play at Dallas on Sunday.
Skylar Thompson, QB – Pittsburgh Steelers
Now in Pittsburgh after spending his first three seasons in Miami, Thompson is on injured reserve. The Steelers improved to 4-1 with a 23-9 home win over Cleveland, and they play at Cincinnati on Thursday night.
Deuce Vaughn, RB – Denver Broncos
After spending his first two seasons in Dallas, Vaughn is now on the Broncos' practice squad. Denver earned a 13-11 win over the New York Giants in London, England, to pick up its third-straight victory and improve to 4-2. Denver hosts the New York Giants on Sunday.
Russ Yeast, S – Cincinnati Bengals
Yeast, who is in his third NFL season, is on the Bengals' practice squad. Cincinnati fell to 2-4 via a 27-18 loss at Green Bay, and the Bengals host Pittsburgh on Thursday.
