K-State Previews Sunflower Showdown During Weekly Press Conference

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman and select players met with members of the media on Monday inside the Vanier Family Football Complex to preview Saturday's Dillons Sunflower Showdown contest at Kansas. Opening Statement…
"Good afternoon, everyone. I hope everybody had a good weekend. We gave the guys the weekend off – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We let them get away, got them refreshed, recharged, both mentally and physically. As a staff, we did some recruiting and came back on Sunday and started to dive even deeper into a really good football team that we're playing against in KU. We have to go on the road. We haven't seen the guys yet. We'll see them this afternoon. I know they've been in the weight room, but they've just been busy. So, we'll see the guys this afternoon. We'll have a pretty good practice today and have a pretty normal week of preparation leading to Saturday at 11 a.m."
