MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2025 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 19 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
Anudike-Uzomah, who is in his third NFL season, is on injured reserve. Kansas City tallied its third-straight win and fifth victory in the last six games in a 28-7 win over Washington on Monday night. The 5-3 Chiefs travel to face Buffalo on Sunday.
Cooper Beebe, OL – Dallas Cowboys
Beebe, who is in his second NFL season, was placed on injured reserve after Week 2 but had his practice window for return opened last week. The Cowboys fell, 44-24, at Denver to drop to 3-4-1 prior to hosting Arizona on Monday night.
JuJu Brents, CB – Miami Dolphins
Brents, who is in his third NFL season and first with the Dolphins, was inactive for Miami's 34-10 win at Atlanta. Miami improved to 2-6 prior to a Thursday-night home contest against Baltimore.
DJ Giddens, RB – Indianapolis Colts
Giddens, a fifth-round pick in this year's draft, was inactive for Indianapolis' 38-14 home win over Tennessee, a victory that pushed the Colts' record to 7-1. Indianapolis plays at Pittsburgh on Sunday.
Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hayes, who is in his third season, made tackles on punt and kickoff coverage among his 15 special teams plays, helping Tampa Bay earn a 23-3 victory at New Orleans. The Buccaneers enter their bye week with a 6-2 record.
Timmy Horne, DT – Tennessee Titans
In his fourth NFL season, Horne is on the Titans' practice squad. Tennessee fell to 1-7 on the year with a 38-14 loss at Indianapolis, and the Titans host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Easton Kilty, OL – New Orleans Saints
A rookie free agent signee, Kilty is on New Orleans' practice squad. The Saints fell at home to Tampa Bay, 23-3, to drop to 1-7 this season before a game at the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
KT Leveston, OL – Cleveland Browns
Leveston, who is in his second NFL season, saw time on two special teams plays in Cleveland's 32-13 loss at New England. The Browns fell to 2-6 as they enter their bye week.
Tyler Lockett, WR – Las Vegas Raiders
After spending the first seven weeks of his 11th NFL season in Tennessee, Lockett was granted his release and signed with Las Vegas as he is reunited with head coach Pete Carroll and quarterback Geno Smith from his time in Seattle. The 2-5 Raiders were off last week and enter the second half of the season by hosting Jacksonville on Sunday.
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Cleveland Browns
In his 12th NFL season and first with Cleveland, Lucas was inactive for the Browns' 32-13 loss at New England, a defeat that dropped Cleveland to 2-6 as it enters its bye week.
Adrian Martinez, QB – San Francisco 49ers
Signing with San Francisco's practice squad just before the start of the regular season and the active roster last month, Martinez was active but did not play in the 49ers' 26-15 loss at Houston. San Francisco fell to 5-3 on the year and remains on the road with a game at the New York Giants on Sunday.
Jacob Parrish, CB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Parrish, a third-round draft pick by Tampa Bay, recorded six total tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack among his 37 defensive snaps and seven special teams plays in the Buccaneers' 23-3 win at New Orleans. Tampa Bay improved to 6-2 as it enters its bye week.
D.J. Reed, DB – Detroit Lions
Reed, who is in his eighth NFL season and first with Detroit, is on injured reserve. The 5-2 Lions were off last week before hosting Minnesota on Sunday.
Dalton Risner, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
In his seventh NFL season and first with Cincinnati, Risner was active but did not play in Cincinnati's 39-38 home loss to the New York Jets, a defeat that dropped the Bengals to 3-5 before hosting Chicago on Sunday.
Marques Sigle, S – San Francisco 49ers
Sigle, a fifth-round selection in this year's draft, made a tackle on the opening kickoff among his 23 special teams plays in San Francisco's 26-15 loss at Houston. The 5-3 49ers travel to face the New York Giants on Sunday.
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
Sinnott, who is in his second season, made one catch for 22 yards among his 11 offensive snaps while also seeing time on 10 special teams plays in Washington's 28-7 loss at Kansas City on Monday night. The Commanders, now 3-5 this season, host Seattle on Sunday night.
Skylar Thompson, QB – Pittsburgh Steelers
In Pittsburgh after spending his first three seasons in Miami, Thompson is on injured reserve. The Steelers saw their record drop to 4-3 following a 35-25 loss to Green Bay on Sunday night. Pittsburgh hosts Indianapolis on Sunday.
Deuce Vaughn, RB – Denver Broncos
After spending his first two seasons in Dallas, Vaughn is on the Broncos' practice squad. Denver improved to 6-2 with a 44-24 home win over Dallas prior to a game at Houston on Sunday.
Russ Yeast, S – Cincinnati Bengals
Yeast, who is in his third NFL season, is on the Bengals' practice squad. Cincinnati fell to 3-5 this season with a 39-38 home loss to the New York Jets, and it hosts Chicago on Sunday.
