Wildcats in the NFL – Week 5

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2025 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 20 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
 
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
In his third season in the NFL, Anudike-Uzomah is on injured reserve. Kansas City fell at Jacksonville, 31-28, on Monday night to drop to 2-3 this season, and the Chiefs host Detroit on Sunday night.
 
Cooper Beebe, OL – Dallas Cowboys
Beebe is in his second NFL season but was placed on injured reserve after Week 2. The Cowboys earned a 37-22 victory at the New York Jets to even their record at 2-2-1. Dallas plays at Carolina on Sunday.
 
JuJu Brents, CB – Miami Dolphins
In his third NFL season and first with the Dolphins, Brents was in for five special teams plays and a tackle on the opening kickoff of the second half in Miami's 27-24 loss at Carolina. The Dolphins are 1-4 this season and host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
 
Keenan Garber, CB – Indianapolis Colts
Garber, an undrafted rookie free agent who spent the preseason with Minnesota, was signed to Indianapolis' practice squad last week. The Colts picked up a 40-6 home win over Las Vegas to improve to 4-1 this season, and they host Arizona on Sunday.
 
DJ Giddens, RB – Indianapolis Colts
Giddens, a fifth-round pick in this year's draft, rushed five times for 22 yards among his nine offensive plays in the Colts' 40-6 home win over Las Vegas. Indianapolis is 4-1 this season and hosts Arizona on Sunday.
 
Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In his third season, Hayes was in for 22 special teams plays in Tampa Bay's 38-35 walk-off win at Seattle. The Buccaneers, who are 4-1 this season, host San Francisco on Sunday.
 
Timmy Horne, DT – Tennessee Titans
Horne, who is in his fourth NFL season, is on the Titans' practice squad. Tennessee picked up its first win of the year, a 22-21 walk-off victory at Arizona. The 1-4 Titans play at Las Vegas on Sunday.
 
Easton Kilty, OL – New Orleans Saints
Kilty, a rookie free agent signee, is on the Saints' practice squad. New Orleans earned its first win of the season, a 26-14 home victory over the New York Giants. Now 1-4, the Saints host New England on Sunday.
 
KT Leveston, OL – Cleveland Browns
In his second NFL season, Leveston earned his second start in as many weeks and was in for 63 offensive snaps for Cleveland's 21-17 loss to Minnesota in London, England. The Browns fell to 1-4, and they play at Pittsburgh on Sunday.
 
Tyler Lockett, WR – Tennessee Titans
Lockett, who is in his first season in Tennessee, fell on a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and had one catch for six yards to help the Titans earn their first victory of the year, a 22-21 win at Arizona. Now 1-4, Tennessee remains on the road to take on Las Vegas on Sunday.
 
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Cleveland Browns
Lucas, who is in his 12th NFL season, was inactive for Cleveland's 21-17 loss to Minnesota in London, England. The defeat dropped the Browns' record to 1-4 prior to a game at Pittsburgh on Sunday.
 
Adrian Martinez, QB – San Francisco 49ers
Martinez, who signed with San Francisco's practice squad just before the start of the regular season, was signed to the 49ers' active roster last week. San Francisco earned a 26-23 overtime win at the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night to improve to 4-1 this season. The 49ers play at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
 
Jacob Parrish, CB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A third-round draft pick by Tampa Bay this year, Parrish made his first-career start and had a team-leading nine tackles while playing on 59 of the team's 61 defensive snaps in a 38-35 last-second win at Seattle. The Buccaneers improved to 4-1 prior to hosting San Francisco on Sunday.
 
D.J. Reed, DB – Detroit Lions
In his eighth NFL season and first with Detroit, Reed was placed on injured reserve last week. The Lions earned a 37-24 win at Cincinnati, their fourth-straight win after a season-opening loss. Detroit plays at Kansas City on Sunday night.
 
Dalton Risner, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
Risner, who is in his seventh NFL season and first with Cincinnati, was in for one offensive snap in the Bengals' 37-24 home loss to Detroit. It was the third-straight loss for the Bengals, who are 2-3 this season before playing at Green Bay on Sunday.
 
Marques Sigle, S – San Francisco 49ers
A fifth-round selection in this year's draft, Sigle made his fifth start in as many games during his rookie campaign as he totaled a team-high 13 tackles – including one on the final play of the game to help seal the win – in addition to a pass breakup as the 49ers won at the Los Angeles Rams, 26-23, on Thursday night. San Francisco improved to 4-1 this season and plays at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
 
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
In his second NFL season, Sinnott saw time on 19 offensive snaps and eight special teams plays, helping Washington pick up a 27-10 road win at the Los Angeles Chargers. The Commanders improve to 3-2 and host Chicago on Monday night.
 
Skylar Thompson, QB – Pittsburgh Steelers
Thompson is now in Pittsburgh after spending his first three seasons in Miami, but he is on injured reserve. The 3-1 Steelers were off last week, and they come out of their bye to host Cleveland on Sunday.
 
Deuce Vaughn, RB – Denver Broncos
Vaughn, who spent his first two seasons in Dallas, is now on the Broncos' practice squad. Denver improved to 3-2 with a 21-17 win at Philadelphia, and the Broncos play the New York Jets in London, England, on Sunday morning.
 
Russ Yeast, S – Cincinnati Bengals
In his third NFL season, Yeast is on the Bengals' practice squad. Cincinnati is now 2-3 following a 37-24 home loss to Detroit, and it plays at Green Bay on Sunday.
