Wildcats in the NFL – Week 9

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2025 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 19 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
 
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
In his third NFL season, Anudike-Uzomah is on injured reserve. The Chiefs lost at Buffalo, 28-21, to drop to 5-4 this season as they enter their bye week.
 
Cooper Beebe, OL – Dallas Cowboys
In his second NFL season, Beebe was activated off injured reserve, made his third start of the season and was in for all 67 offensive snaps in the Cowboys' 27-17 home loss to Arizona on Monday night. Dallas fell to 3-5-1 as it enters its bye week.
 
JuJu Brents, CB – Miami Dolphins
In his third NFL season and first in Miami, Brents was inactive for the Dolphins' 28-6 home loss to Baltimore. Miami dropped to 2-7 this season, and they host Buffalo on Sunday.
 
DJ Giddens, RB – Indianapolis Colts
A fifth-round pick in this year's draft, Giddens was inactive for the Colts' 27-20 loss at Pittsburgh, a defeat that dropped them to 7-2 this season. Indianapolis takes on Atlanta in Berlin, German, on Sunday.
 
Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In his third season, Hayes and the Buccaneers were off last week. Tampa Bay comes out of its bye week with a 6-2 record as it hosts New England on Sunday.
 
Timmy Horne, DT – Tennessee Titans
Horne, who is in his fourth NFL season, is on Tennessee's practice squad. The Titans suffered a 27-20 home loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to drop to 1-8 prior to their bye week.
 
Easton Kilty, OL – New Orleans Saints
Kilty, a rookie free agent signee, is on the Saints' practice squad. New Orleans dropped to 1-8 this season with a 34-10 loss at the Los Angeles Rams, and the Saints are at Carolina on Sunday.
 
KT Leveston, OL – Cleveland Browns
In his second NFL season, Leveston and the Browns had their bye last week. Cleveland, 2-6 this season, plays at the New York Jets on Sunday.
 
Tyler Lockett, WR – Las Vegas Raiders
Lockett, who spent the first seven weeks of his 11th NFL season in Tennessee, saw his first action as a Raider as he was targeted once among his 19 offensive snaps – including a potential game-winning two-point conversion in overtime – as Las Vegas lost at home to Jacksonville, 30-29. The Raiders fell to 2-6 this season, and they play at Denver on Thursday night.
 
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Cleveland Browns
Lucas, who is in his 12th NFL season, and the Browns were off last week. Cleveland, 2-6 this season, comes out of its bye with a game at the New York Jets on Sunday.
 
Adrian Martinez, QB – San Francisco 49ers
Martinez, who signed with San Francisco's practice squad just before the start of the regular season and the active roster last month, earned his first-career snap in a regular season NFL game, taking the final kneel down in the 49ers' 34-24 win at the New York Giants. San Francisco improved to 6-3 this season and hosts the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
 
Jacob Parrish, CB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A third-round draft pick by Tampa Bay, Parrish and the Buccaneers were off last week. Tampa Bay, 6-2 this season, hosts New England on Sunday.
 
D.J. Reed, DB – Detroit Lions
In his eighth NFL season and first with the Lions, Reed is on injured reserve. Detroit lost at home to Minnesota, 27-24, to drop to 5-3, and the Lions play at Washington on Sunday.
 
Dalton Risner, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
Risner, who is in his seventh NFL season and first with Cincinnati, was inactive for the Bengals' 47-42 last-minute home loss to Chicago. Cincinnati enters its bye week with a 3-6 record.
 
Marques Sigle, S – San Francisco 49ers
A fifth-round selection in this year's draft, Sigle was inactive for San Francisco's 34-24 win at the New York Giants. The 49ers, now 6-3 this season, host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
 
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
In his second season, Sinnott saw time on 17 offensive snaps and 13 special teams plays in Washington's 38-14 home loss to Seattle. The Commanders fell to 3-6 this season and host Detroit on Sunday.
 
Skylar Thompson, QB – Pittsburgh Steelers
Thompson, who is in his first season with the Steelers after spending his first three years in Miami, is on injured reserve. Pittsburgh picked up a 27-20 home win over Indianapolis to improve to 5-3 this season, and the Steelers play at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night.
 
Deuce Vaughn, RB – Denver Broncos
Vaughn, who spent his first two season in Dallas, is on Denver's practice squad. The Broncos picked up an 18-15 walk-off win at Houston to improve to 7-2 this season, and they host Las Vegas on Thursday night.
 
Russ Yeast, S – Cincinnati Bengals
In his third NFL season and first in Cincinnati, Yeast is on the Bengals' practice squad. Cincinnati lost at home to Chicago, 47-42, to fall to 3-6 this season as it enters its bye week.
