71 Student-Athletes Participate in Spring Commencement

MANHATTAN, Kan. – A total of 56 current K-State student-athletes earned their first degrees from Kansas State University this spring after completing final exams and participating in the annual commencement exercises on Friday and Saturday. In addition, a total of 15 other Wildcat student-athletes earned their second degrees from the University. 
 
Highlighting the 56 who graduated this spring were 11 members of the rowing team, eight women's track and field members, seven each from baseball and football, six from men's track and field, five from women's basketball, three each from men's golf and soccer, two each from tennis and volleyball and one each from men's basketball and women's golf.
 
The group of graduates was also honored at the department's annual graduation reception inside the West Stadium Center at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
 
All of Kansas State's athletic teams met and exceeded the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate single and multi-year standards for the 14th straight year as the NCAA released its latest Division I APR data from the 2023-24 academic year.
