Wildcats Announce 2025 Fall Baseball Schedule
Sep 12, 2025 | Baseball
MANHATTAN, Kan. – Head coach Pete Hughes and the Kansas State baseball team have announced the Wildcats' 2025 fall schedule, highlighted by an exhibition game against Kansas on Saturday, October 25, at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence. First pitch will be determined in the coming weeks.
Â
The exhibition coincides with a busy weekend for Wildcat athletics, as K-State football also takes on KU in Lawrence on October 25, while K-State volleyball faces the Jayhawks the night before, October 24, also in Lawrence.
Â
K-State will host its annual ALS Awareness Halloween Game on Monday, October 27, at Tointon Family Stadium at 6:30 p.m. The event, a cornerstone of the program's 19 Ways initiative, provides a fun, family-friendly environment to raise money and awareness for ALS. Coaches and players will dress in costume for an entertaining scrimmage, and fans are encouraged to join in the festivities by wearing costumes of their own.
Â
The Wildcats' fall schedule will conclude with a three-game intrasquad Fall World Series that runs November 6–9 at Tointon Family Stadium. Game one is set for Thursday, November 6, at 6 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. matchup on Friday. The series concludes Sunday, November 9, with a noon first pitch.
Â
All events at Tointon Family Stadium are free and open to the public.
Â
The fall roster features 21 returners from last year's NCAA Tournament team, including All-American AJ Evasco and everyday starters Shintaro Inoue, Dee Kennedy and Bear Madliak. K-State capped a historic 2025 campaign with a program-record 17 conference victories and the Wildcats' second straight NCAA Tournament berth. K-State finished 32-26 overall, marking its third consecutive 30-win season.
