MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2025 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 20 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DE – Kansas City Chiefs
Anudike-Uzomah is in his third NFL campaign but is on injured reserve. The Chiefs picked up their second-straight win – a 37-20 victory over Baltimore – to even their record at 2-2. Kansas City plays at Jacksonville on Monday night.
Cooper Beebe, OL – Dallas Cowboys
In his second NFL season, Beebe was placed on injured reserve after Week 2. Dallas played Green Bay to a 40-40 tie on Sunday night, and the 1-2-1 Cowboys are at the New York Jets on Sunday.
Ekow Boye-Doe, CB – Arizona Cardinals
After spending the preseason with Arizona, Boye-Doe was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad two weeks ago. Arizona lost to Seattle, 23-20, on Thursday night to fall to 2-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Tennessee on Sunday.
JuJu Brents, CB – Miami Dolphins
Brents, who is in his third NFL season and first with the Dolphins, saw time on seven special teams plays in Miami's 27-21 home win over the New York Jets on Monday night. It was the first victory of the year for the Dolphins, who are now 1-3 this season and play at Carolina on Sunday.
DJ Giddens, RB – Indianapolis Colts
A fifth-round pick in this year's draft, Giddens was in for four offensive snaps in Indianapolis' 27-20 loss at the Los Angeles Rams. It was the Colts' first loss of the season as they dropped to 3-1 prior to hosting Las Vegas on Sunday.
Josh Hayes, DB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hayes, who is in his third season, carded a tackle on kickoff coverage among his 28 defensive snaps in Tampa Bay's 31-25 home loss to Philadelphia. It was the Buccaneers' first loss in four games this season as they look to rebound at Seattle on Sunday.
Timmy Horne, DT – Tennessee Titans
In his fourth NFL season, Horne is on Tennessee's practice squad. The Titans lost at Houston, 26-0, to drop to 0-4 this season, and they play at Arizona on Sunday.
Easton Kilty, OL – New Orleans Saints
A rookie free agent signee, Kilty is on New Orleans' practice squad. The Saints lost at Buffalo, 31-19, and are 0-4 this season before hosting the New York Giants on Sunday.
KT Leveston, OL – Cleveland Browns
Leveston, who spent his rookie season of 2024 with the Rams, is now with the Browns. He earned his first career start and was in for all 67 offensive snaps at left tackle during Cleveland's 34-10 loss at Detroit. Interestingly, Leveston made a tackle on an interception by another former Wildcat, DJ Reed. The Browns, 1-3 this season, play the Vikings in London on Sunday morning.
Tyler Lockett, WR – Tennessee Titans
In his first season in Tennessee, Lockett was targeted four times among his 36 offensive snaps but did not have a reception in the Titans' 26-0 loss at Houston. Tennessee, 0-4 this season, plays at Arizona on Sunday.
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Cleveland Browns
In his 12th NFL season, Lucas made his 57th-career start and was in for all 67 offensive snaps and three special teams plays during Cleveland's 31-10 loss at Detroit. Now 1-3 this year, the Browns face Minnesota in London on Sunday morning.
Adrian Martinez, QB – San Francisco 49ers
Signing with San Francisco just before the start of the regular season, Martinez is on the 49ers' practice squad. San Francisco suffered its first loss of the year – a 26-21 setback to Jacksonville – to fall to 3-1, and the 49ers play at the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night.
Jacob Parrish, CB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Parrish, a third-round draft pick this year, posted two tackles – including one for a loss – and a pass breakup among his 33 offensive snaps and 16 special teams plays in Tampa Bay's 31-25 home loss to Philadelphia. The Buccaneers are 3-1 and play at Seattle on Sunday.
D.J. Reed, DB – Detroit Lions
Reed, who is in his first season with Detroit, made his 74th-career start and came away with four tackles, his seventh career interception and three total passes defended in Detroit's 31-10 home win over Cleveland. It was his first interception since Week 12 of the 2023 season against Miami while playing for the New York Jets. The Lions improved to 3-1, and they travel to face Cincinnati on Sunday.
Dalton Risner, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
In his seventh NFL season and first with Cincinnati, Risner was active but did not play in Cincinnati's 28-3 loss at Denver on Monday night. The loss dropped the Bengals to 2-2 this season, and they host Detroit on Sunday.
Marques Sigle, S – San Francisco 49ers
Sigle, a fifth-round selection in this year's draft, made his fourth start in as many games this season, collecting eight tackles and a pass breakup in San Francisco's 26-21 home loss to Jacksonville. The 49ers fell to 3-1, and they play at the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night.
Ben Sinnott, TE – Washington Commanders
Sinnott, who is in his second NFL season, made his fourth-career start and second in as many games in Washington's 34-27 loss at Atlanta. Sinnott was in for 27 offensive snaps and nine special teams plays. The Commanders dropped to 2-2 on the year before a game at the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Skylar Thompson, QB – Pittsburgh Steelers
Thompson, who spent his first three NFL seasons in Miami, is now in Pittsburgh but is on injured reserve. The Steelers won a 24-21 contest against Minnesota in Dublin, Ireland, to improve to 3-1 on the year prior to their bye week.
Deuce Vaughn, RB – Denver Broncos
After spending his first two seasons in Dallas, Vaughn is now on Denver's practice squad. The Broncos picked up a 28-3 Monday-night win over Cincinnati to improve to 2-2, and they play at Philadelphia on Sunday.
Russ Yeast, S – Cincinnati Bengals
Yeast, who is in his third NFL season, is on Cincinnati's practice squad. The Bengals fell to 2-2 this year with a 28-3 setback at Denver on Monday night. Cincinnati hosts Detroit on Sunday.
