K-State to Host 8th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day Event

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State Athletics will host a pregame clinic from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., on Saturday, February 7, in the Ice Basketball Training Facility in conjunction with the women's basketball game against BYU to celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
The clinic is open to all kids in the first through eighth grades and will be hosted by K-State women's athletic teams. For $10, participants will receive admission to the pregame clinic, a K-State fanny pack courtesy of Furniture Mall and a general admission ticket to the game at 4 p.m.
To register your school, team or individual for this event, visit www.kstatesports.com/NGWSD2026. All participants must pre-register by Friday, January 30. Act fast, as registration has filled up prior to the deadline the past four seasons.

The Women's Sports Foundation leads the nationwide celebration inspiring girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power. The confidence, strength and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life.
