Spent a postgraduate year at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Va.
Starred at the 2014 National Prep Showcase in New Haven, Conn., on Nov. 21-22, averaging 30.5 points, 5 assists and 2.5 steals in games vs. No. 2 Notre Dame Prep and St. Thomas More… Scored a game-high 33 points in the loss to Notre Dame Prep on 9-of-14 field goals before posting a 28-point effort in a win over St. Thomas More.

Enjoyed a stellar prep career where he guided teams to two state championships and two Catholic League titles.
Helped City College High School in Baltimore, Md., and head coach Daryl Wade to a perfect 27-0 record and a Class 3A state title as a senior in 2013-14… The Knights finished the season with a No. 18 ranking in the final USA Today Super 25 High School poll… Averaged 15 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds en route to earning First Team All-Metro honors from the Baltimore Sun.
Guided Dunbar High School in Baltimore, Md., to a 26-2 record and a Class 1A state championship and Baltimore City title as a junior in 2012-13, playing alongside former West Virginia standout Daxter Miles… Averaged 14 points en route to earning Second Team All-Metro honors from the Baltimore Sun.
Played at John Carroll High School as a freshman and sophomore, helping the Patriots to a combined 56-20 record in 2010-12 and the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) A Conference Championship in 2012.
