  • Played just one season (2019-20) at Temple College in Temple, Texas, where he helped the Leopards to a 24-7 overall record, including an 8-6 mark in Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play… The team played in one of the most difficult regions (Region 5) that produced two Top 10 teams (Clarendon and Ranger) and sent three (Clarendon, Ranger and South Plains) to the NJCAA National Championship in Hutchinson, Kan.
  • Was part of one of the most prolific community college teams at Temple College, which ranked among the NJCAA’s Top 10 in 12 categories in 2019-20, including in each major one (scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks)… The Leopards led the country in free throw made (20.0 per game), while was second in scoring (102.7 ppg.) and field goals attempted (79.3), third in field goals made (37.1), free throws attempted (27.3) and rebounding margin (+24.2), fourth in total points (3,183) and blocks (6.2 bpg.), sixth in rebounding (47.0), seventh in offensive rebounds (16.6), eighth in steals (12.3) and 10th in assists (20.5).
  • Ranked among the NJCAA’s best in both blocked shots and rebounding, including Top 5 in blocks (3.6 bpg./fourth) and fifth in offensive rebounds (4.3 orpg./fifth)… Also placed 23rd in rebounding (9.5 rpg.) and 27th in total rebounds (285).
  • Selected to the NJCAA Region 5 Team as well as the All-Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference squad… Was one of just 5 true freshmen on the All-Region 5 Team.
  • Averaged a near double-double with 13.3 points on 51.4 percent shooting (164-of-319), including 26.5 percent (9-of-34) from 3-point range, with 9.5 rebounds, 3.6 blocks, 0.9 assists and 0.4 steals per game in starting 30 games in 2019-20… Connected on 70.1 percent (61-of-87) from the free throw line.
  • Led the team in total blocks (109), blocks per game (3.6 bpg.), total rebounds (285) and offensive rebounds (129), while he was second in rebounding and defensive rebounds (156), third in field goal percentage and fourth in scoring.
  • Tallied 12 double-doubles, including 11 of the points/rebounds variety… Best all-around game came in the win at Grayson (1/8/20), where he not only put up a season-high 28 points but also a season-tying 17 rebounds to go with 4 blocks.
  • Scored in double figures in 25 of 30 games played, including a pair of 20-point efforts… Scored a season-high 28 points in a 118-106 win at Grayson (1/8/20) on 11-of-19 field goals and 6-of-8 free throws… Also posted 24 points against Ranger (1/22/20) on 8-of-13 shooting and 5-of-7 free throws.
  • Corralled double-digit rebounds in 13 games, while grabbing a season-best 17 on three occasions (vs. Western Texas (11/23/19), Tomball (12/6/19) and Grayson (1/8/20).
  • Recorded at least 4 blocks in 15 games, including a season-high 11 blocks in a 87-68 loss at Ranger (2/19/20)… Nearly had a triple-double with 11 points and 7 rebounds in the contest… Also had 6 other games of more than 6 blocks during the season.

  • Was a three-year letterman (2016-19) and two-year starter (2017-19) at John Paul Stevens High School in San Antonio, Texas… Led the Falcons to a 39-23 record and back-to-back trips to the UIL Class 6A State Tournament his last two seasons (2017-19), including a 19-13 mark and a trip to the Region 4 Quarterfinals as a senior in 2018-19.
  • Averaged 13.0 points on 50.2 percent shooting (303-of-604) with 7.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 58 combined games as a junior (2017-18) and senior (2018-19) after totaling just 12 points and 27 rebounds as a sophomore in 2016-17… Collected 16 double-doubles his last two seasons.
  • Was a unanimous First Team All-District 28-6A pick and Second Team All-Academic selection as a senior (2018-19)… Was also named Second Team All-District 28-6A as a junior (2017-18).
