General Reminders
- Reminder to clock in and out of your shift every time you work. There is a clock located in Bramlage. You do not need to come to WSC if your position is at the basketball arena.
- The clear bag policy will be in effect for all events and you will be going through metal detectors. Please leave any bags, backpacks, purses, etc that you don’t need at home or in your car.
- If you have any questions about anything you will be doing on gameday, please ask ahead of time so we can get you caught up to speed before the game.
- When you are working please use your time wisely. There is always more to learn. If you feel lost and don’t know what to do, ask someone else how you can help. It pays to take charge of your own education, force the issue. Playing on your phone is not a good use of time.
- Media meals are scheduled to arrive between 2 hours and 90 minutes prior to tipoff and will be in the home press conference area located at the top of the tunnel. Weekend games with tip times between 2 and 5pm may not have meals so plan accordingly. Meals being provided is a luxury and it’s always possible that you may not have time to eat due to setup issues or other problems. Making sure your position is fully ready is the top priority, always be prepared to miss a meal if necessary.
- All crew have individual parking passes and credentials for MBB and WBB with your names on it. Please be sure to pick these up before the first day you are working. You will use the same plastic sleeve you have for VB and Soccer to put your basketball credentials in. You must remember to always bring your credential with you. You are not allowed to use your credential to enter the stadium for games you are not assigned to work. For parking you may enter the West parking lot through Gate 5 and park in any parking stall North of the center drive lane that leads to the FB Main gate. This is GA parking. Your parking pass says W-VIP and you can park in the West VIP area, but the GA parking area is your closest area to park in.

- All crew should enter Bramlage at the NW entrance or at the South Tunnel by the truck. Doors open to public one hour prior to tipoff, if you are trying to access stadium after that point it may be faster to enter at the tunnel rather than waiting in line at the NW entrance.

- For basketball we often are producing two shows simultaneously, one for TV broadcast and one for the in-house video board. If your position has a BD in front of it you are working for the video board shows which is controlled from the BD Control Room at Volleyball. If it does not have a BD on it then you are working for the TV show which is controlled from the WSC Control Room at Football. Again, know what position you are assigned to and where you need to report to. Reporting to the wrong control room makes us think that you forgot you were assigned to work.
- Gates open one hour out from tipoff, but the Shamrock Zone will be open two hours out. Our feed to the concourse monitors and the Shamrock Zone will be live at that point.
- As much as possible we want to limit court access. If you do not have a specific work related reason to be in the playing area, do not go there. If your setup is complete and there is no where you are needed to help with additional prep for the game, please remain at your assigned positions and on headset.
