- Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) – AASP promotes the ethical practice, science, and advocacy of sport psychology. They also provide some free resources for athletes, coaches, and those interested in careers in sport psychology or finding a certified consultant near you.
- Positive Psychology – Understand and build the strengths and virtues that enable individuals and communities to thrive.
- StrengthsQuest – Learn your Top 5 strengths and how you can use them to maximize your performance in leadership roles, academics, athletics, and career. All first year KSU students receive free access and others may purchase codes at the bookstore or online.
- Discover Yourself – Learning Effectiveness and Health Behavior Inventories are available for KSU students online.
- NCAA Best Practices – Offers resource-independent recommendations for NCAA schools to support and promote student-athlete mental wellness in partnership with campus stakeholders
Counseling & Mental Health Support
- CAPS – CAPS provide short-term, focused counseling for all KSU students. Please follow the link of call 785-532-6927 to make an appointment.
- Support for Sport – For student-athletes to help identify when teammates and friends are struggling with mental health issues and how to make the necessary referrals.
- Suicide Prevention Hotline - If you or a friend has a mental health emergency, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255)
- CARE Center - Center for Advocacy, Response and Education provides confidential services and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, dating violence, stalking and harassment.
- K-State Family Center – The Family Center provides high-quality, affordable individual, family, couple and group therapy for people in the Manhattan area.
- Free Resources – KSU provides numerous free resources for students including topics related to stress management, personal growth, alcohol, eating concerns, career/academic issues, relationships
- Mind, Body, & Sport – The most comprehensive overview to date of college student-athlete mental health, addressing mental health in the continuum from youth sport to intercollegiate sport and beyond

LOCATION
The Sport Psychology Office is located in the Morrison Family Mental Wellness Center on the second floor of the Morris Family Olympic Training Center. Parking and entrance can be made from the West lot (Gate 3) in front of Morgan Family Arena/Morris Family Olympic Training Center.
