Connor Crimmins
A two-sport athlete at Washburn, Crimmins enters his second season as a graduate manager with the K-State program after graduating with a degree in marketing in 2016.
In his first season as an assistant, Crimmins helped K-State to a 29-26 overall record, its first winning season since the 2013 season. Crimmins helped guide the Cats to victories over No. 4 South Carolina and No. 6 Texas Tech.
Crimmins saw four Wildcats from the 2017 squad get selected in the last MLB Draft: Jordan Floyd (10th round, Kansas City), Jake Scudder (16th round, Washington), Parker Rigler (31st round, Chicago [AL]) and Josh Rolette (39th round, Cleveland).
A four-year letterwinner in baseball, Crimmins played in nearly every game for Washburn. In his senior season, Crimmins hit .319 with eight home runs and tied for the team lead with 53 RBI and 14 doubles.
Crimmins was also a four-year letterwinner in football playing at wide receiver. In his career, he collected more than 900 yards receiving while hauling in 10 touchdowns.
Crimmins is the son of Scott and Laurie Crimmins. His father, Scott, played football at Iowa State and Washburn.n.
