- Saw action in 25 games with 12 starts… Started the first 12 games before coming off the bench in 13 of the last 19 games… Did miss games with No. 14/16 Texas (1/4/22) and at West Virginia (1/8/22) due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
- Nearly doubled his minute total from 2020-21, logging 639 minutes with a 14.5 minutes per game average… Played a season-high 25 minutes in the win at Wichita State (12/5/21)… Also played 20 or more minutes in 3 other contests.
- Averaged 4.2 points on a team-best 68.5 percent shooting (37-of-54) with 2.7 rebounds per game… Connected on 56.6 percent (30-of-53) from the free throw line.
- Scored in 18 of 25 games played, including a pair of double-digit scoring efforts… Posted a career-high 15 points vs. North Dakota (11/28/21) on 6-of-7 shooting to go with 7 rebounds.

- Averaged 3.2 points on a team-best 56.9 percent shooting (37-of-65) with 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 12.4 minutes per game in 29 games played…
- Twice he scored in double figures, including 10 in his first career game against UTPB (11/16/18) and a season-best 12 against Middle Tennessee State (3/6/19)… Also grabbed 9 rebounds and 2 blocks in his first game against UTPB (11/16/18).
- His 98 rebounds were tops among all reserves… Grabbed 5 or more rebounds on 7 occasions, including a season-high 9 on 3 occasions (UTPB, New Mexico State, Middle Tennessee).
- Led the team with 24 blocked shots and registered at least 2 blocks in eight contests with a season-high 3 against Rice (2/23/19).
- Averaged 3.1 points on 51.2 percent shooting (22-of-43) with 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 12.8 minutes per game in playing in 18 games in conference play, which included 7 starts.
- Started each of the team’s last seven games, averaging 3.9 points on 47.8 percent shooting (11-of-23) with 4.3 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game… Nearly had a double-double in his final home game against Middle Tennessee State (3/16/19) with 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting with 9 rebounds in a season-best 29 minutes.

High School
- Went to prep school in Brampton, Ontario (a suburb of Toronto), where he was rated one of the top prep players in Canada and the only player in the league to average a double-double after averaging 11.4 points and 10.4 rebounds at GTA Prep at Mississauga School in 2017-18.
- Named the Defensive Player of the Year by the National Preparatory Association… Also selected as the co-MVP of the Signature All-Canadian Showcase.
- Made the start and finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds during the 2017 BioSteel All-Canadian basketball game on April 8, 2018.
- Played at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tenn., during the 2016-17 campaign… Helped the Hawks post a 31-7 overall record, including a USA National Prep Tournament championship on March 4, 2017 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
- Also played soccer, volleyball and football in high school.

- Kaosisochukwu Ezeagu was born on November 26, 1999 in the Nassau, Bahamas… Parents are James and Patience Ezeagu… Has a brother, Benjamin.
