- Part of a senior class that posted an 88-51 (.633) overall record, including a 37-35 (.513) mark in Big 12 play, and advanced to 3 NCAA Tournaments and won a share of the 2018-19 Big 12 regular-season title… The 88 wins tie for the sixth-most by a class in school history.
- Finished 10th on the all-time scoring list with 1,510 points (just the 10th Wildcat with 1,500 career points), while he is one of just 3 players (Bob Boozer (1956-59) and Rodney McGruder (2009-13) to rank in the Top 10 in both career scoring (1,510/10th) and rebounding (685/8th).
- Finished among the career Top 10 in several categories, including scoring, rebounding, double-digit scoring games (81/7th), field goals made (548/8th) and starts (123/2nd).

- Selected to the All-Big 12 First Team by the league coaches and The Associated Press… Became just the second Wildcat (Jacob Pullen) to be named to the league’s First Team in back-to-back seasons and one of 5 players to earn recognition to the Coaches’ All-Big 12 First Team.
- Named the Phillips 66 co-Big 12 Player of the Week after averaging 18 points and 3.5 assists in wins at No. 20/19 Oklahoma (1/16/19) and TCU (1/19/19).
- Played and started 25 games, missing 9 total games over 2 injury stints… Missed 6 games from December 19 to January 9 before returning for the win at No. 20/21 Iowa State (1/12/19)… Injured on Senior Day game vs. Oklahoma (3/9/19) and was unable to play the reminder of the season, missing the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship and the NCAA Tournament.
- Proved to one of the most valuable players in the Big 12, as the Wildcats went 20-5 in games in which he played, including 13-2 in league action, and 5-4 in the 9 games he didn’t play.

- Selected to the All-Big 12 First Team by the league coaches and the Second Team by The Associated Press… Became just the fourth Wildcat to be named to the Coaches’ All-Big 12 First Team, joining Michael Beasley (2008), Jacob Pullen (2010, 2011) and Rodney McGruder (2013), while only Beasley and Pullen did it as undergraduates.
- Named the Citizen Naismith National Player of the Week and the Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week (both for the first time in his career) after averaging 20.5 points on 50 percent shooting (16-of-32), including 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from 3-point range, with 6.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in wins over No. 4/6 Oklahoma (1/16/18) and No. 24/25 TCU (1/20/18).
- Saw action in 33 games with 32 starts before missing most of the last five games due to injury.
- Logged 1,083 minutes on the season, which ranked third on the team… Played 30 or more minutes in 25 games, including 17 in a row, prior to the injury… Played 40 or more minutes against No. 7/7 Kansas (1/29/18) and TCU (3/8/18) at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.
- Averaged 16.2 points on 55 percent shooting (198-of-360), including 44 percent (40-of-91) from 3-point range, with 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.8 blocks in 32.8 minutes per game… Connected on 75.2 percent (97-of-129) from the free throw line.
- His 16.2 points per game average was the highest by a Wildcat since Jacob Pullen averaged 20.2 points as a senior in 2010-11… One of just 15 players in the Big 12 era to average at least 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in a single season, joining the likes Iowa State’s Curtis Stinson, Oklahoma State’s Tony Allen, Texas’ P.J. Tucker and Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart… One of just three Big 12 players to accomplish the feat since 2012-13, joining Smart (2012-13 and 2013-14) and Kansas’ Josh Jackson (2016-17).
- Became just the fourth player to shoot 50 percent or better from the field, 40 percent or better from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line in a single season and the first double-digit scorer to do so since Mitch Richmond and Will Scott both did it during the 1987-88 season.
- Led the Wildcats in 7 categories, including scoring, double-doubles (4), 20-point games (11), 3-point field goal percentage, rebounding (6.2 rpg.), offensive rebounds (43), defensive rebounds (160), total rebounds (203)… Was second in a majority of others, including points, double-digit scoring games (28), field goals made and attempted, field goal percentage, free throws made and attempted, blocks (27) and minutes per game.
- Became just the 30th Wildcat to post at least 500 points in a single season, finishing with 533… To go with his 203 rebounds, he became the first player since Michael Beasley in 2007-08 to post at least 500 points and 200 rebounds in a single season.
- Finished among the Big 12 leaders in 8 categories, including 3-point field goal percentage (3rd), field goal percentage (5th), defensive rebounds (6th), scoring (7th), rebounding (10th), free throw percentage (14th) and minutes played (14th) and blocked shots (15th).
- Collected 28 double-digit scoring games, including a team-tying 11 20-point games… Scored in double figures in 20 consecutive games before his injury… Led the Wildcats in scoring on a team-best 13 occasions, including 11 times in Big 12 play… Scored in double figures in all 18 league games, including 10 20-point games.
- Did miss a majority of the NCAA Tournament, playing in just one game with 4 points in 8 minutes in the win over No. 18/20 Kentucky (3/21/18).
- Scored a career-best 34 points in a win at Iowa State (12/29/17), which came on 13-of-16 field goals, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range… Posted 20 or more points in six consecutive Big 12 games, which included a pair against Kansas.
- Collected a team-high four double-doubles on the season, including 25 points and 11 rebounds vs. Oral Roberts (11/29/17), 17 points and 10 rebounds vs. No. 6/7 West Virginia (1/1/18), 13 points and 11 rebounds vs. No. 7/7 Texas Tech (2/10/18) and 15 points and 11 rebounds at Oklahoma (2/24/18)… Narrowly missed the school’s first triple-double with 22 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds against Iowa State (2/17/18).
- Connected on a team-best 44 percent from 3-point range, while ranking fourth on the team in both makes (40) and attempts (91)… Hit on at least 2 treys in 10 games, including a career-best 6 at Iowa State (12/29/17).
- Led the team in rebounding 17 times, including double digits on four occasions with a season-best 11 against Oral Roberts (11/29/17), No. 7/7 Texas Tech (2/10/18) and Oklahoma (2/24/18).
- Dished out the third-most assists on the team with 89… Registered at least 4 assists in nine games, including a season-high 9 vs. Iowa State (2/17/18).
- His 51 steals were third on the team, as he grabbed at least 2 steals in 15 games, including a season-best 5 vs. Northern Arizona (11/20/17).
- Ranked second on the team with 27 blocked shots and 2 or more in 7 contests… Totaled 4 blocks in a big win at Texas (2/21/18).
- Started all 18 Big 12 contests… Averaged 18.8 points on 55 percent shooting (127-of-231), including 45.3 percent (29-of-64) from 3-point range, in Big 12 play with 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks in 36.8 minutes per game… Connected on 81.2 percent (56-of-69) from the free throw line… Only Oklahoma’s Trae Young scored more points in Big 12 play.

- Was the only Big 12 player to finish among the conference’s Top 15 in 11 of 13 categories, including second in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage and 3-point field goal percentage, sixth in defensive rebounds (5.1) and minutes played, eighth in steals and assist/turnover ratio (1.7), ninth in rebounding, 10th in blocked shots and 13th in assists and free throw percentage.

Summer 2017
- Was one of 19 players nationally to participate in the second annual Elite Student-Athlete Symposium in Indianapolis September 8-10... It is an educational program that attempts to address the challenges associated with pursuing a career in professional basketball.
As A Sophomore (2016-17)
- One of four players to start in all 35 games… The 35 starts tied teammates Barry Brown, Jr., and Kamau Stokes for the most-ever by a sophomore at K-State, while the 35 appearances tied for the second-most in school history by a sophomore.
- Logged 980 minutes during the season, which the 10th-highest total by a sophomore in school history… Played 30 or more minutes 18 times, including a season-high 36 in a win over No. 7/8 West Virginia (1/21/17) at home.
- Averaged 9.3 points on 49.6 percent shooting (117-of-236), including 40.2 percent (39-of-97) from 3-point range, with 4.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 28.0 minutes per game… Connected on 66.3 percent (53-of-80) from the free throw line.
- Ranked among the team’s Top 5 in 23 categories, including first in 20-point games (3) and starts (35) and second in 3-point field goal percentage (40.2), offensive rebounds (57) and blocks (23).
- Scored in double figures 17 times, including on 11 occasions in Big 12 play... All three 20-point games came in league play, registering 20 points twice vs. Kansas and at TCU (3/1/17).
- Six times he led the Wildcats in scoring, including on 4 occasions in Big 12 play… Was the team points leader with 18 in the conference-opening win vs. Texas (12/30/16) before his first 20-point effort at No. 3/2 Kansas (1/3/17)… Led the way with another 20-point outing at home vs. No. 3/3 Kansas (2/6/17) and in a crucial win at TCU (3/1/17).
- Knocked down 39 shots from 3-point range on the season... Had at least 2 treys in 11 games, including a season-high 4 at TCU (3/1/17) on 9 attempts.
- Ranked third on the team in rebounding (4.5 rpg.), grabbing 5 or more boards 18 times… Led the team in rebounding 9 times, including twice in Big 12 play… Had a season-best 9 rebounds vs. Robert Morris (11/22/16) and Prairie View A&M (12/6/16).
- Led in assists on 5 occasions, including a season-best 5 vs. Prairie View A&M (12/6/16).
- His 23 blocked shots ranked second on the team, which included 2 or more on 6 occasions… Registered a season-best 3 blocks vs. Gardner-Webb (12/21/16).

European Tour (Summer 2016)
- Helped the Wildcats to a 3-2 record during their 10-day tour of Italy and Switzerland (August 8-19)… Saw action in all 5 games with 4 starts… Averaged 9.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game… Connected on 45 percent of his field goals (18-of-40), including 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from 3-point range… Ranked second on the team in rebounds and was third in scoring… Twice scored in double figures, including 15 points vs. the Italian Select Team on 6-of-10 shooting and a tour-high 17 points vs. BBC Lausanne on 6-of-8 field goals, including 3-of-3 from 3-point range.
As A Freshman (2015-16)
- Selected to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team by the league coaches… Apart of the first duo (along with Barry Brown, Jr.) to be honored on the team and just the third and fourth overall.
- Twice named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, first on Dec. 7 then again on Feb. 8… Became the 10th Wildcat and just the third freshman (along with Michael Beasley and Marcus Foster) to win the league Newcomer of the Week accolade at least twice… Won the first weekly award after hitting the game-winning jumper to lift K-State past Georgia (12/4/15) with 4.3 seconds in his first road game to cap a 17-point effort… Scored 17 points off the bench in an upset of top-ranked Oklahoma (2/6/16) to capture the second honor.
- One of two Wildcat true freshmen to play in all 33 games with 31 starts… The 33 games played tied nine others for the fourth-most games played by a true freshman in school history, while his 31 starts also ranked fourth all-time by a rookie… His 871 minutes played were the fifth-most by a freshman… Played 30 or more minutes 10 times, including a season-high 38 minutes vs. No. 19/17 West Virginia (1/2/16) and at No. 13/15 Baylor (1/20/16).
- Averaged 9.9 points on 43.4 percent shooting (111-of-256), including 29.2 percent (26-of-89) from 3-point range, with 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 26.4 minutes per game… One of just 13 Wildcat freshmen to average at least 8.5 points per game since freshmen became eligible in 1971-72, while became the eighth Wildcat freshman to tally 300 or more points in a single season… Connected on 65.6 percent (80-of-122) from the free throw line.

- Averaged 21.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.4 blocks, 2.9 steals and 2.8 assists per game in his career… Scored 1,749 points in his career on 67 percent shooting (512-of-764) to go with 752 rebounds, 214 blocks, 182 steals and 176 assists… Connected on 73 percent (266-of-366) from the free throw line… Posted 60 double-digit scoring games in the last 63 games played in his career with 38 20-point games, five 30-point games and one 40-point game… Totaled 22 double-doubles and three triple-doubles in his last three high school seasons.

- Averaged a team-leading 25.2 points on 73.2 percent shooting (222-of-303), including 48.4 percent (15-of-31) from 3-point range, with 9.5 rebounds, 3.9 steals, 3.3 assists and 3.0 blocks in just 19.5 minutes per game as a senior in 2014-15… Connected on 75 percent (96-of-128) from the free throw line… Led the way in 10 categories, including scoring, field goals made and attempted, field goal percentage, free throws made and attempted, rebounding, steals and blocks and was second in assists.

- Dean Jackson Wade was born November 20, 1996 in Wichita, Kan. … Parents are Jay and Trish Wade... Has an older sister, Teresa, who an all-state volleyball player at St. John and the 2010 Class 1A State Division I MVP… Mother, Trish, is the volleyball and track coach at St. John High School… Has won three state championships in volleyball (2008, 2010 and 2011) and three times has been the Kansas Volleyball Association Coach of the Year.
- Father, Jay, lettered one season as a flanker on the football team at Kansas State in 1985… Played in two games with one catch for 5 yards… Finished career at Western Illinois, where he lettered as a defensive back and helped the Leathernecks to a 10-2 record, Gateway Conference title and a berth in the Division I-AA playoffs as a senior in 1988… Named an AP honorable mention All-American and First Team All-Gateway Conference in 1988.
- Mother, Trish, was inducted into the Barton County Community College Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 where she played both volleyball and basketball… Led the Cougar volleyball team to a 111-10 record with two Top 4 finishes at the NJCAA National Tournament en route to twice becoming an All-American in 1985-86… Transferred to Florida Southern (1987-88), where she was an AVCA Second Team All-American as a junior in 1987 and twice a First Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection… Still owns the single-match (11), single-season (99) and career (182) records for solo blocks at Florida Southern… Overall, she still ranks in the Top 10 in five career and nine single-season categories at the school.
- Starred for the Mid-Kansas AAU team, helping the squad to the title game of the Great American Shootout in Dallas, where he scored 30 points… Coached by Layne Frick.
- Graduated in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in social science.
