Among those was a school-record 30 passing touchdowns, No. 2 rankings in offensive yards per game (445.2) and first downs (310), and No. 3 showings in total yards (5,788), completions (258) and pass attempts (426).
It was more of the same in 2024 as K-State finished in the top 15 nationally in four offensive categories and ranked in the top 10 in school history in 15 game or season categories, the latter featuring school records for offensive yards per play (6.57) and rushing yards per carry (6.08). Prior to his time as a graduate assistant, Wallace spent the previous two seasons working as an undergraduate coach at K-State. His gameday responsibilities included signaling offensive play calls and charting plays, while he assisted with individual drills and organized the scout team during practices. On a daily basis, Wallace helped generate practice scripts, created quarterback wristbands and helped with opponent breakdown among other duties.
Son of Spencer and Sondra Wallace, he was a three-year football letterwinner and two-year team captain at Olathe South High School prior to arriving in Manhattan. Wallace earned his undergraduate degree in education studies from K-State in May 2023. He and his wife, Sandy, reside in Manhattan.
