Kacey Harper Feldkamp enters her 20th season at Kansas State in 2024, and sixth as the Director of Football Operations. She assists with a majority of the daily operations of the football program, including coordinating team travel and bowl planning in addition to camps and clinics and managing the program’s operating budget. Additionally, she is a member of K-State’s optimal performance team, which strives to ensure players are at their peak performance for practices and games.
Beginning with a term in 2023, Feldkamp is a member of the College Football Playoff Advisory Group. As of the 2023 season, Feldkamp is one of just seven females to serve as the Director of Football Operations at an FBS school, while she teams with Mindy Hoffman to be make K-State one of just two schools to have females serve as its Director of Football Operations and Head Football Athletic Trainer.
Feldkamp began working with the football program in 2005, serving three years as a student assistant and one year as a graduate assistant before being hired on full time in 2009. Prior to her current position, Feldkamp served as the Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations from 2009 to 2012 and was the Assistant Director of Operations from 2013 to 2015 before being promoted to Associate Director of Operations in 2016.
A native of Emporia, Kansas, Feldkamp earned her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Services from Kansas State University in 2008 and obtained a master’s degree in counseling and student development from Kansas State University in 2011. She is married to John Feldkamp – a K-State alum – and the couple has one daughter, Payton, and one son, Dezi.
