    Asst. Director of Recruiting / Defensive Quality Control
A five-year member of the football team during one of the greatest eras in program history, Taylor Godinet joined the K-State staff in the spring of 2015 as an Assistant Director of Recruiting/Defensive Quality Control and shifted to the role of Defensive Graduate Assistant for 2016 before moving back to his original role for the 2017 season.

Godinet, a former walk-on, played in 14 career games, helping the 2014 season class finish with a combined 38-14 record, including a Big 12-best 27-9 conference mark and a 2012 Big 12 Championship. He served on field goal protection in all 13 games as a senior in 2014, while also seeing time as a defensive end. For his efforts as a senior, he was given the program’s Nancy Bennett Memorial Award, which represents fight, spirit and positive nature.

A product of Wamego (Kan.) High School and native of Oceanside, California, Godinet graduated from K-State with a degree in sociology in December 2014.
