CAREER: A tough-minded player who switched from defensive end to wide receiver prior to his redshirt freshman season... Lost his entire junior year due to injury but came back to record his best season as a recevier during his senior campaign... Played in 29 career games with eight starts... Helped K-State accumulate a 34-18 record, a Big 12 Championship in 2012 and four-straight bowl berths.

2015 (Click Here for 2015 Game-by-Game Stats): Played in 11 games with five starts, recording 19 catches for 288 yards and one touchdown... Only had five catches for 59 yards entering his senior season.... Set career highs for receptions (6), yards (131), touchdowns (1) and long catch (35) at Texas Tech... It was the first 100-yard receiving game by a Wildcat during the 2015 season... Also had four catches for 57 yards vs. TCU and three receptions for 36 yards at Oklahoma State.

2014: Sat out the 2014 season due to injury.

2013 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Saw action in nine games, including starts against Oklahoma State, Baylor and Iowa State... Caught five passes for 59 yards, over half of which came against the Cowboys when he hauled in three passes for 34 yards... Also caught a season long 13-yard pass against the Bears and a 12-yarder against TCU.

2011: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner at Loveland High under head coach John Poovey... A First Team All-Colorado 4A selection at safety by the Denver Post as a senior... Caught 47 passes for 853 yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior campaign, while he collected 113 tackles and five interceptions on defense... Earned all-conference honors at tight end and quarterback as a junior... A first team academic all-state performer.

PERSONAL: Kyle Edward Klein was born October 25, 1991, in Akron, Ohio... Son of Doug and Kelly Klein... Older brother, Collin, played quarterback at K-State and was a Heisman Trophy finalist... Majoring in industrial engineering.
