An experienced strength and conditioning coach with stops at several colleges and high schools, Christopher Aninye is in his first season at Kansas State in 2023 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Aninye, who was the Director of Strength and Conditioning at Alabama State in 2021 and 2022, most recently served as an assistant strength coach at Ole Miss. He has also worked at Purdue (2020), Western Kentucky (2018) and Troy (2017). In the high school ranks, Aninye has served as the strength and conditioning coach at respected programs such as Richardson (TX) High School and Warner Robins (GA) High School.
Aninye received his start in the field as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, Alabama A&M. He earned his undergraduate degree in physical education in 2009, while he obtained his master’s degree in physical education in 2013.
