Connor Bennett returned to K-State in 2020 as an assistant athletic trainer working with the football program. Bennett, who served as a graduate assistant for the Wildcats for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, came back to Manhattan after serving as the head football athletic trainer the previous two seasons at Boise State.
Bennett, who worked for the Broncos for three years overall, also served as a seasonal athletic trainer for with the San Francisco 49ers for the 2016 season, while he was a preseason intern for both Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners during the 2014 spring training, and worked a preseason internship with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013.
Bennett earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training with a minor in biology from Boise State in 2013, while he obtained his master’s degree in counseling and student development from K-State in 2016. A Certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Bennett and his wife, Cheryl, have two sons, Silas and Elias.
