- Title:
- Director of Football Administration
Hank Jacobs was hired as Director of Football Administration in December 2018. In his role, Jacobs oversees all of the football support staff and assists with recruiting operations. Additionally, Jacobs is a member of K-State’s optimal performance team, helping ensure student-athletes are at their peak performance for practices and games.

He was originally hired in a full-time capacity in August 2015 as Director of Football Recruiting before being elevated to Director of Football Operations in 2016. In his previous position, Jacobs coordinated the day-to-day operations for the football staff, including team travel, campus visits and other recruiting activities.
Jacobs was an offensive lineman on the NDSU football team from 2009 to 2011 before spending two years as an undergraduate assistant. He was a two-time Missouri Valley Football Conference honor roll member and earned the Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award.
Jacobs was named an offensive intern in 2014 and assisted the Bison staff in many of the same recruiting duties he assumed in the new position.
A product of Beaver Dam High School in Wisconsin, he was an Associated Press all-state second team performer his senior year and was named Little Ten Conference Lineman of the Year. He was a three-time all-conference honoree.
Jacobs graduated from North Dakota State in May 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He and his wife, Tahnee – a K-State graduate – were married in May 2021 and have two daughters, Joelle and Charlotte.
