Kevin Ingram

Kevin Ingram is in his first season in a full-time capacity at Kansas State in 2026 serving as Director of Player Development, while he is entering his eighth season overall with the program after serving as a volunteer chaplain beginning in 2019.
In his current role, Ingram supports the holistic growth of football student-athletes by focusing on leadership development, mentorship and accountability, culture reinforcement, mental and emotional well-being and spiritual growth and support.
Ingram came to K-State from Manhattan Christian College where he served as president for the previous 20 years. He has also served in other roles in his career, including churches in Oakley, Kansas, and Great Bend, Kansas.
Ingram has always been actively involved in local organizations. He coached football at Oakley High School from 1987 to 1989, while he served as chaplain for the Barton County Community College baseball team in Great Bend from 1994 to 1999. Additionally, he has served on a variety of local boards during his time in Manhattan, including the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, Good Shepherd Homecare & Hospice, the Manhattan Rotary Club and the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Ingram was a 1979 graduate of Murphy High School before attending Manhattan Christian College, graduating in 1986. He also obtained a master’s degree from Johnson University in 2002.
Kevin and his wife, Lisa, have two children – Lauren and her husband Nic, and Tyler and his wife Ashley – and three grandchildren.
