Mikie Schiltz enters his sixth season at K-State and fifth in a full-time capacity as an assistant equipment manager.
Schiltz served the 2018 season as a graduate assistant equipment manager for the Wildcats, helping maintain the equipment room, overseeing gameday setup for both the locker room and sideline, and supervising student managers, among other duties.
A native of Ankeny, Iowa, Schiltz attended Iowa State where he worked as a student equipment manager while obtaining his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies in December 2016. He then interned for the equipment staff of the Arizona Cardinals during the summer of 2017.
