Bailey Bachamp enters her 14th year working with the Kansas State men’s basketball program in 2025-26, including her fourth as the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations after being elevated to the position by head coach Jerome Tang.
Bachamp is one of an estimated 31 women in positions of leadership (assistant coach, director of operations, assistant director of operations, recruiting coordinator, chief of staff and/or assistant to the head coach) on men’s basketball coaching staffs in Division I.
Hired July 2012, Bachamp has been part of 245 wins during her tenure, which has included a pair of Big 12 regular-season championships (2012-13, 2018-19) and six trips to the NCAA Tournament. She helped the Wildcats to a remarkable first season under head coach Jerome Tang in 2022-23, as the team defied preseason expectations to win 26 games and advance to the school’s 13th trip to the Elite Eight.
Bachamp oversees all logistics related to the day-to-day operations of the program including team travel and meals, managing the program’s operating budget, camps and clinics, operating the Legends former player program and she also handles the personal schedule of Tang.
Bachamp has athletics experience as an undergraduate, serving four years as a student assistant in the football office, where she assisted in the recruiting process. She also spent a summer as a cheerleading marketing intern with the Kansas City Chiefs.
A native of Manhattan, Kan., and graduate of Manhattan High, she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Kansas State in 2011. Formerly Bailey Borck, she is married to former Wildcat wide receiver Cole Bachamp. The couple have twin boys – Dylan and Brooks.
