Rob Lowery is in his first season as a graduate student manager in 2025-26 after recently retiring from a 15-year professional career overseas.

After a 2-year stint at Dayton, where he was part of a Flyers squad that won the 2010 NIT title, Lowery played for various professional teams across 15 seasons, including in Germany, Czech Republic, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Kazakhstan, Poland, Belarus, Kuwait and most recently in Bahrain.

The Washington, D.C., native also spent time at both Chesapeake Community College and Cecil College, where he earned an associate’s degree in general studies in 2008. He was a First Team Division II Junior College All-American at Cecil, where he played for current assistant coach Jareem Dowling.

Lowery earned a bachelor's degree in general studies from Dayton in 2010. He is working towards a master’s in counseling and student development at K-State.

Lowery has two daughters, Havanah and Lyric.
