  • Paced the team in most offensive categories, including scoring, double-digit scoring games (24), 20-point games (5), field goals attempted (384), 3-point field goals made (59) and attempted (194), free throws made (116) and attempted (168).

  • One of three players to start in all 37 games… The 37 starts tied five others, including teammates Barry Brown, Jr., and Makol Mawien for the most in school history in a single season, while the 37 games played tied seven others for the most in a single season.
  • Totaled 1,160 minutes on the season, which is the ninth-most minutes by a Wildcat in school history… It was the third-most minutes by a sophomore in school history… Played 30 or more minutes in 25 games, including a season-high 42 minutes against TCU (3/8/18) at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.

  • Took a big step during the Wildcats’ run in the NCAA Tournament, averaging 13.8 points on 48.8 percent shooting (20-of-41), including 50 percent (11-of-22) from 3-point range, to go with a team-best 7.0 rebounds in 34.0 minutes per game… Led the team in both scoring and rebounding against No. 18/20 Kentucky (3/22) and Loyola Chicago (3/24).
  • Became the first Wildcat in school history to lead the team in 5 categories in the same game with team-best in points (15), rebounds (8), assists (4), steals (3) and blocks (1) in 32 minutes in game against Tulsa (12/9/17).
  • Posted first career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds against Oklahoma State (1/10/18), while was close on several other occasions, including a 22-point, 9-rebound effort against No. 18/20 Kentucky (3/22/18) in the NCAA Tournament.
  • Led the Wildcats in rebounding on 13 occasions… Grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Texas (2/21/18).
  • The top 3-point threat with a team-best 65 makes on 34.4 percent shooting… Connected on at least 2 treys in 19 games with a season-high 6 vs. No. 6/7 West Virginia (1/1/18)… Also posted 5 treys at No. 15/11 West Virginia (2/3/18) and against No. 18/20 Kentucky (3/21/18).

  • One of six players to play in all 35 games, including the only true freshman… Registered a pair of starts… Posted double-digit minutes in all but one game, while tallying 14 games of 20 or more minutes… Played a season-high 31 vs. Iowa State (2/15/17).
  • Averaged 7.1 points on 42.9 percent shooting (78-of-182), including 33.9 percent (38-of-112) from 3-point range, with 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game… Connected on 72.6 percent (53-of-73) from the free throw line.
  • Ranked among the team’s top 5 in 7 categories, including third in free throw percentage (72.6) and 3-point field goals attempted (112) and fourth in 3-point field goals made (38) and offensive rebounds (29).
  • Posted school Top 10 freshman marks in 4 categories, including games played (35), 3-point field goals (38), steals (33) and free throw percentage (72.6).
  • Started in place of D.J. Johnson in a road game at No. 13 West Virginia (2/11/17) and a home game vs. Iowa State (2/15/17)… Scored 10 points on 4-of-8 field goals in 20 minutes vs. the Mountaineers and posted 7 points and 5 rebounds vs. the Cyclones in a season-best 31 minutes.
  • Scored in double figures 12 times, including on 5 occasions in Big 12 play… Totaled a season-high 19 vs. TCU (2/1/17), going nearly perfect from the field… Connected on 4-of-4 field goals against the Horned Frogs, including 3-of-3 from 3-point range, and went 8-of-9 from the line.
  • Registered double-digit points in his first career game with 17 points in the opener vs. Western Illinois (11/11/16) on 6-of-9 field goals, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, in 21 minutes… Led the team in scoring once with 16 points in a win over Boston College (11/25/16) on 5-of-9 field goals to go with 8 rebounds and 3 steals in 29 minutes.
  • Aside from his 19-point effort vs. TCU (2/1/17), he also scored in double digits in Big 12 play vs. No. 1 Baylor (12; 1/14/17), at Oklahoma State (11; 1/18/17), at Iowa State (11; 1/24/17) and at No. 13 West Virginia (10; 2/11/17).
  • His 38 3-point field goals were the sixth-most by a freshman in school history and the most since Barry Brown had 45 in 2015-16… Hit on 2 or more 3-pointers in 12 games, including a season-high 4 twice, vs. Western Illinois (11/11/16) and at Saint Louis (12/3/16).
  • Twice led the team in rebounding, including a season-high 8 boards vs. Boston College (11/25/16).
  • His 33 steals tied for the sixth-most by a freshman in school history and the most since Barry Brown had 40 in 2015-16… Had 3 or more steals in 6 games, including a season-high 4 in the NCAA First Four win over Wake Forest (3/14/17).
  • Played in all 18 Big 12 contests with 2 starts… Averaged 5.9 points on 39.1 percent shooting (34-of-87) in Big 12 play with 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 18.0 minutes per game… Connected on 73.3 percent (22-of-30) from the free throw line.

  • Helped the Wildcats to a 3-2 record during their 10-day tour of Italy and Switzerland (August 8-19)… Saw action in all 5 games with 1 start… Averaged 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game… Connected on 40.9 percent (18-of-44) from the field… Ranked second on the team in scoring… Scored in double figures in the first four games, including a tour-high 14 points vs. the Italian Select Team on 5-of-10 field goals, including 2-of-4 from 3-point range… Had a 12-point effort vs. the Kosovo National Team on 5-of-12 shooting in 22 minutes of action.

  • A consensus Top 160 prospect by most recruiting services, ranking No. 93 in the 2016 Rivals150 and No. 152 by 247Sports… He was also among the top small forward prospects nationally, placing No. 21 by Scout, No. 26 by ESPN and No. 32 by 247Sports… He was considered one of the Top 5 players in Missouri, including No. 2 by Scout and No. 3 by ESPN and 247Sports.
  • A four-year letterman at Hazelwood Central High School in Florissant, Mo. … Helped the Hawks to a 70-18 overall record during his final three seasons, including at least 23 wins each year… The team posted a 24-5 overall record, including a 5-0 mark in conference play, in 2015-16 and a No. 4 final St. Louis Post-Dispatch large school ranking… They lost in the Class 5 Sectional Game to eventual state champion Chaminade.
  • Named to the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) Class 5 All-State Team as both a junior (2015) and senior (2016)… Twice selected to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro Team, including First Team in 2016.
  • Scored nearly 1,500 points in the final three years of his prep career, averaging 16.4 points on 50.3 percent shooting (476-of-947) and 78.1 percent (364-of-466) from the free throw line.
  • Averaged a team-leading 20.2 points on 53.4 percent shooting (186-of-348), including 35.3 percent (48-of-136) from 3-point range, to go with 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocks per game in 29 games as a senior in 2015-16… Shot 65.1 percent (138-of-212) from inside the 3-point line… Connected on 85.1 percent (166-of-195) from the free throw line.

  • Xavier Tyron Sneed was born December 21, 1997 in Alabama… Parents are Anthonie and Erica Sneed… Has a younger sister, Ania.
  • Played for the elite St. Louis Eagles (Bradley Beal Elite) U17 squad in the summer of 2015, which lost in the championship game of the 24-team Peach Jam Tournament… Averaged 6.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 17 games… The Eagles produced six Division I signees in 2016, including McDonald’s All-American and current Boston Celtic Jayson Tatum (Duke), Jordan Barnes (Indiana State), Tyler Cook (Iowa), Will Gladson (Princeton) and Christian Willis (Arkansas State).
  • Earned a degree in organizational management in May 2020.
