Morgan Kropp is in her second season as an assistant sports dietitian and nutritionist at K-State, where she works with several Wildcat athletic teams, including men’s basketball. The two-time K-State graduate previously worked in the department as a sports nutrition intern during the 2020-21 athletics season.
A native of Paola, Kan., Kropp returned to K-State in July 2023 after working two years for Sodexo at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita in a variety of positions, including most recently as a clinic dietitian.
A former basketball student-athlete, Kropp was a four-year letterwinner at Emporia State, where she helped the Lady Hornets win 92 games and earn three NCAA Tournament trips for head coaches Jory Collins and Toby Wynn.
Kropp earned a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance from Emporia State in 2020 before earning a second bachelor’s degree in dietetics from K-State in 2022. She added a master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics and sensory science from K-State in 2023.
Kropp and her husband Wyatt reside in Manhattan.
