Mossman began her career at Kansas State after a three-year stint as the head coach at Arkansas. The 1986-87 season was arguably Mossman’s best as she led the Wildcats to their last Big Eight Conference title and a berth in the NCAA Midwest Regional. Tabbed Big Eight Coach of the Year for her efforts, Mossman coached K-State to a 13-0 home mark that year, the fourth undefeated home season in school history.
