• Young is the fourth player in the 48-year history of women's basketball at Kansas State from the state of Florida, joining former Sunshine State letterwinners, Carlisa Thomas (1984-87), Cassandra Jones (1983-86) and Jalana Childs (2009-12).
• Teamed up with Breanna Lewis to play with Athletes in Action in June 2015 in Poland against national teams from France, Latvia and Poland.


SENIOR (2016-17)
Did not play due to injury.


JUNIOR (2015-16)
Played in a career-high 26 games... Averaged 7.6 minutes per game... Set career-highs for rebounds (59), defensive rebounds (36), blocks (17) and steals (14)... Four games with five or more rebounds... Blocked two or more shots in three games, including a career-high five against Florida Atlantic (12/13)... Came off the bench to play 13 minutes against Abilene Christian (11/16) and registered six points, four rebounds, one block and one steal... Tallied three points and three rebounds at Connecticut (11/23)... Recorded six points on 3-of-3 shooting and two steals against UTRGV (12/7)... Notched eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, six rebounds and a career-high five blocks against Florida Atlantic (12/13)... Recorded three points, seven rebounds and three blocks in 12 minutes off the bench against Sam Houston State (12/19)... Tied her season with with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting, six rebounds and two steals in 15 minutes off the bench against Western Illinois (12/21)... Registered three points, three rebounds and a block at Oklahoma (1/10)... Had three points and two steals at Baylor (2/3)... Pulled in six rebounds at South Carolina (3/20) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Saw action in 25 games, with three starts in Big 12 action... Registered career-highs in minutes played, points, field goals made, free throws made, total rebounds, assists, blocks and steals... Averaged 3.1 points on a .448 field goal percentage (30-of-67), 2.0 rebounds (51 total rebounds)... Fourth on the team in blocked shots with nine... Pocketed 10 steals and dished out eight assists... Scored more points in six games played (35), than she did in 18 games in her freshman season (34)... Registered her first career double figure effort with 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting and a 4-of-4 effort from the foul line against SIUE (11/14)... Tallied career-highs of 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting, three blocks and two steals against UMKC (11/18)... Came off the bench to notch six points, five rebounds including four offensive, two blocks and two steals against Hampton (11/21)... Came off the bench against William Jewell to record five points and six rebounds (12/8)... Tallied eight points on 4-of-8 shooting, five rebounds and a steal against Grambling State (12/20)... Made her first start of the season against Iowa State (1/17) and responded with eight points and four rebounds.

FRESHMAN (2013-14)
Played in 18 games with three starts and carded 166 minutes (9.2 mpg) in her debut season... Averaged 1.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and blocked seven shots... Made career debut against Tennessee State (11/8) by starting and recording eight points, three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 21 minutes of action... Tallied five points, five rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot against Charlotte (11/10)... Notched seven points, five rebounds and an assist against Grambling State (12/7)... Registered six points and career-highs of seven rebounds and two assists off the bench against UC Santa Barbara (12/15).

HIGH SCHOOL
Ranked as the No. 70 forward in the nation by ESPN Hoopgurlz… Averaged 19.1 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in her senior season… Helped guide Tampa Bay Tech to a district title and 17-10 record… At the conclusion of the 2012-13 season, she was named to the Class 7A All-State First Team, Western Conference First Team and was named to the Tampa Bay Times All-County First Team… She also garnered her team’s MVP award for the second straight season… Averaged 20.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks while leading the Titans to a 23-3 record, the Class 7A, District 8 title and into the Florida High School state regional quarterfinals in her junior season… At the conclusion of the 2011-12 season, Young was named to the Class 7A All-State First Team, Tampa Bay Times First Team all-county selection and to the Tampa Tribune First Team.
